So today my fiancee had his interview with the Canadian consulate.  Yay!!  He brought his interview letter, among other things, which stated that he needed to have a copy of my tax return but he didn't have that.  It was not on the packet 3 list and we overlooked it, not thinking it was needed.  But in any case, the officer never asked for it, and he was in there for a total of about 5 min.  Is this good or bad?  The officer did tell him at the end that everything looked good and you should hear back within 1-2 weeks of not sooner.  If you have gone for an interview, how long was your interview?  And did they say that to you at the end that it looked good and you ended up passing?

I am assuming you're talking about interview for the K1 visa (after filing 129f). Basic thing is if they kept your fiance's passport, its always a good thing.

Wait a few days to hear back from them. Keep tracking passport online on the embassy website. All the best.

If he needed anything additional they would of handed him a yellow slip of paper stating what was needed . If they said everything was good and they kept his passport then it's just a matter of waiting for your issued notification :) Congratulations you are so close to the finish line and should be together soon .
