Hi

I submit my AOS file in 12th July with EAD and AP. I had biometric appointment in August 8th and after that in September 7 they send me request they need some initial evidence which is most recent tax returns I send them on 22 September but some how IRS send me onky W-2 forms and I send them and they send me back letter and thanks me about sending us W-2 and I contact my husband tax man and he give us tax return and we send them on 18th Oct and they change the status on they received the documents on 24th Oct.

I have question is the evidence thing delay the case and effect on EAD card I need help please I don't know what to do please help.

of course, the process stopped until they received everything

Thank you so much for reply. is the evidence thing will delay also EAD and AP tp because EAD and AP status is still same since the day one.

So lets separate things here quick....

One thing is the evidence for your AOS and another thing is your EAD and AP. Normally what happens is....Chicago Lock box receives your packat, do a first check in your EAD and AP and send it to MO. Then you would have received your NOA for these two applications. Question back to you, did you receive any NOA for your EAD and AP? 

 

Second is your AOS, if you didnt provide enough tax evidence, you AOS is waiting the proof to conitnues it routes. Does that make sense? Anyways....if you havent received any NOA, your all packet is waiting for your additional documentation as far as I understand.

Thank you for reply yes I received mine three different case number only the AOS case status get change when they want evidence my AP and EAD status is same case received in visajourney timeline they say that my EAD and AP case date above the 25th October I will try to contact with the uscis I am not sure what to do.
