I was going to do the same, but  I ask a lot of people and they said It would take more and more time, like 1 year or more, and that's way too much, but it is cheaper.

Well I thought I’ll have the visa on March (and worrying that it will be too early for my wedding on July....huh)

got the noa2 on April, moved the wedding and still can’t make it to my wedding cause no interview dates till July....

believe me there are a lot of times in this process to be upset - actually that’s an understatement in my case- as I literally just yelled at NVC...

oh by the way you should keep your vibe! Believe me I was the positive of this forum for a  long time and negativity won’t change anything. Just my advice: anything can happen don’t make plans about it. As the person from same exact date can wait extra 2 months with no idea why, just for the approval. It can hit anyone.

@Naes yes i know! i have been following your steps from  September 2017 filers Posts! at least your fiance is with u! and can give u cuddle sessions when u get mad....

OMG and i have read that NVC officers are super nice! but be nice DGAF when u want hear answers and see actions!!!

Maybe their prices should be cheaper because all the hard times they make us happen throught the journey.... but I'm just a dreamer....

sorry about the interview! maybe it would have been a good idea use turkey embassy instead Japan (i dont know if it is worst)....

Fiancé is not with me.... and when he came for 2 weeks (was the time when everyone was getting noa2 on my date..) I basically was the grumpiest cat in the world so it was just a disaster of 2 weeks...(if I’m pissed nothing can calm me down.. really just like a cat. Don’t touch me when I’m pissed! I don’t know why guys don’t understand this...)

i thought of Turkey but I don’t have residency in Turkey...to establish that I need to give in my residency in japan first and I cannot do that till I quit my job. And seriously this is sooo messy...

I have been impatient my whole life.... KARMA exits! and yeah is so quickly, believe even a few hours when he goes im already missing him..

but it is weird to explain like i read all post September, October, November bla bla .. i have seen how ppl is upset, frustrated after the "estimated date"...  And the only thing that calm me down is there will be a day  where we will together forever...

thanks god we are not too far away of each other and can visit every 2 months or make meet up in Miami that it is a middle ground distance state...Anyway i would like that everyday when i open my eyes see him to my side,.. But the best is yet to come!!! :D

I ask that every single day... before noa2 after noa2... I have a feeling I will be still asking when I’m cussing at my wedding as everything will be last minute..

Hi @Naes I know you monitor Visa Journey abit and thank you for doing so. I also heard that the CR1 visa was a lengthy process and took a year to 2 years but recently i have heard from friends that it didnt take up to 8 months. Do you honestly know how long the CR1 visa is taking these days, are they being process in months versus years as we all initially were told.

Nope I don’t follow cr1 cases (in order to keep my sanity and not hate and regret k1 even more...)

Feels like there's no approval rains for October today. Hope they are all silent NOA2... I doubt they will start with Nov this week.
