Hello Everyone :)

Here with weekly number updates.

*The last date touched is September 6.

Yes I admit I am also getting a little anxious on my day 170...never thought I would see this.

Weekly overall movement

*If your date falls before September 6, please do not forget to check your mailbox!

And even from other dates from approval updates, we see silent noa2s!

If you are concerned, please register for Informed delivery!

Hi Naes, thank you.

I have read through this actually.

but still I feel a bit confused.

what about the financial support document ?  What is the required income? Is there a clear conditions to be met?

Also I am confused by the medical exams. What tests are usually performed? What type of vaccine are needed? I feel I don’t have any vaccine record before, does that mean I need to take all the vaccines? How long does it usually take to get the vaccine? Will that be a long waiting period again?

sorry I suddenly get so many questions...

I think you need the full guide about k1 again.

Official K1 details and flow

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-fiance-k-1.html

for your questions:

financial support document : I-134

income: 100% of poverty guidelines for k1 visa and then 125% for AOS (some embassies will want to see 125% for k1 too) also depends on how many people are dependent to the sponsor.

poverty guidelines for 2017 (it will change soon expect about 300$ raise) :

 https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p

You should check about test yourself I don't know the details; but at least blood tests and x-day is included.

if you don't have vaccine records you can ask for a titer test to check your immunity. They usually do the vaccines there (it may depend on your clinic)

the vaccine requirements differ depending on your age. You can research on that by googling or checking cbp website for immigration vaccine requirements.

All k1 related I-129f petitions go to California. There's no other service center unless transferred due to extraordinary circumstances (such as criminal background mostly related to DV.) people just somehow think because they send it to Texas that it goes to Texas and then it gets transferred (hence the mistake on vj timelines.

wac number is california sevice center number (wac stands for its old name western adjudication center)

I can't believe that the processing times are this long now. We originally applied in 2014, we were approved in 17 days (NOA1-NOA2), 100 days total to interview date. Unfortunately we were refused the visa, and subsequently the I-601. We are now starting over with the K1. I don't know how much more I can take with this.

We actually consider this good at the moment, the wait time for June was on average of 190-220+ days. So I'll be happy if it's even only 180 days...

sigh good old times....

Does the NOA 1 come after Cali gets its hands on it? Or when it is processed in Texas?

It is never processed in Texas (as the service center Texas). But if you mean the lockbox; I don't know where it actually comes from but I believe it is sent around the same time it is send to California.

Hi Naes,

Thank you so much!

I have found the page for vaccine:  https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume8-PartB-Chapter9.html

For example, I am 26 year old, I just take the vaccine listed in that age range, right? I don't need to take all the vaccines from a baby till my age right?

Thanks!

I751:

Mailed: 3th May 2021

Delivered: 5th May 2021

Rejected due to missing signature: 26th May 2021

Exactly, and if you already had those (the ones required for your age) either you prove it or take a titer test.

it must be 5 vaccines for your age group and depending on the season a flu vaccine.

I thought it's 3 and a flu vaccine depending on the season?

But the season means the time I go for interview or what?

19 years through 49 years

Td or Tdap

MMR

Varicella

Influenza (during flu season only; Oct. 1 thru Mar. 31)

MMR stands for 3 vaccines combined, they do that one if all three is needed.

mumps, rubella and measles

not when you go to interview but when you go to medical exam.

I see!

Thank you so much.

But how long in advance shall we do the medical exam?

Must it be very close to the dates before interview?

Or it could be done a few months in advance?

Yes! 180 days? That would have been easy compared to how much most June filers waited...

Took us 230 days, wouldn't wish that on anyone...

The consulate will send you instructions and advise you when and more importantly where to have your official medical exam done.

Yes it must be done when they tell you to before the interview.

No you should not do it in advance as your particular consulate has specific instructions to follow.

You really should go through that link I have about official flow.

you can't just decide when you want to do your medical. You'll need NVC case number and in some cases paper from your embassy. You can chose to wait for your interview after medical however, your k1 visa expiration date is 6 months from the medical exam...
