I have a question regarding to getting married.

For example, after we get the K-1 visa successfully, but before entering into US to get married, can the petitioner and beneficiary get married in beneficiary's country? Or will it have some impact on further steps afterwards?

No you absolutely cannot get married before you enter the US with the K1 visa. If you were married you are no longer a fiancée and that would make the visa null and void. I'm sure that would be visa fraud and even if you tried to apply for a spousal visa youd surely get denied.

Also can't adjust status because you will need to show the marriage certificate (and yep that's when all this work would go to waste as it will be obvious that the marriage before entering US happened and entering as a k1 ends up being fraudulent)

one of the main requirements of k1 and also written on what you sent them in the letter of intent is that you are single to marry that person in 90 days after entering the country.

That's an expedite case.

but apart from that, there was a rogue adjudicator (as we call that person, also known as Mr.Bean) who went ahead and approved cases of November 16 received date, only in vj we saw 4 of those cases that got approved at the end of January. These cases are not updated online so they don't appear in these stats. However the one that appears there is an expedited case.

I think that too sometimes :) Usually when people are writing here I would like to reply but sitting in the office at work, so I can't . I wonder where all the filers are, as there must be around 3,000 according to Naes statistics but here are just a few people writing.

I hope all adjudicators are rogue or Mr. Bean ahahahah! But cases are moving faster now than the previous months.

I feel I am not really clear about the steps after NOA2.

Maybe we should spend some time to familiarize the procedures and documents requires after NOA2 so that we won't feel lost later.

Hi Naes, thank you.

I have read through this actually.

but still I feel a bit confused.

what about the financial support document ?  What is the required income? Is there a clear conditions to be met?

Also I am confused by the medical exams. What tests are usually performed? What type of vaccine are needed? I feel I don’t have any vaccine record before, does that mean I need to take all the vaccines? How long does it usually take to get the vaccine? Will that be a long waiting period again?

sorry I suddenly get so many questions...

I can't believe that the processing times are this long now. We originally applied in 2014, we were approved in 17 days (NOA1-NOA2), 100 days total to interview date. Unfortunately we were refused the visa, and subsequently the I-601. We are now starting over with the K1. I don't know how much more I can take with this.
