Nobody is at Texas service center.

lockbox is not a service center, it is the gathering space then they send all k1 to California. K1 doesn't automatically go to any other service center by California. California later may transfer your case depending on different reasons (for example past crimes etc goes to Vermont) but this changes your case status and it literally says "your case has been transfered blah blah..."

people just made the the mistake of thinking that it goes to california.

wac number = california

may I ask the 2 new approved november filers..what country are you from? I think beneficiery from european countries gets approved faster

Yep! My fiancé is from Denmark. Not sure if it makes a huge difference where the beneficiary is from though. Does it?

No country doesn't affect anything.

this just happened randomly, if we see like 10 more of these in November than yeah they are doing something, but for now there is no normal-logical reason for this.

She has never been to the US and I have Federal and State security clearances that have been in place for over 10 years.  She has her clear police certificates fro Ireland and Korea.

I was told by Tier II that our petition has not been assigned and USCIS states on their website that they handle cases in the order they were received.

Only the petitioner get a background check during this part of the process.  There is not enough information in the I-129F for a good background check of the beneficiary.  That comes during AP after the interview.  Background checks on the Federal level take about 2 minutes to complete unless there is a red flag.  Red flag cases are transferred to the Virginia Service Center.

I'm confused, you say you've been waiting 8 months? or you filed in November?...  This is my second time around :( , so maybe my patience stems from the fact I waited 8 months for my I130 back in 1997,  married a Filipina from Mindoro, she became pregnant after the wedding,  gave birth 3 weeks after arriving in the US,  we couldn't cut it any closer..  That was 19 years ago before 911.

really? so that means other filers from european countries wait the same normal processing now which is 6-8 months? there is one service center that is already on october filers.I think it is vermont.

Vermont is the place where special cases with criminal history are assigned. All cases otherwise go to California. And all filers are subject to the same wait times as anyone else in the K1 process - where the beneficiary is from usually doesn't play a part in how long it takes.

ROC Timeline:

Date format is MM/DD/YY

05/16/19 - Green Card Issue Date

03/10/21 - Sent ROC paperwork to Phoenix, AZ | USPS 2-Day Shipping

04/07/21 - NOA1 Text Messages Received

It's called backlog.. every country without a difference is processed the same long amount of time.

and if someone is in Vermont, then there is a huge possibility of some criminal or DV background of any kind...

Yes he is about day 235 or more can't even remember anymore. 8 months for I-130 is normal, 8 month for a i-129f not even k1 is not normal..

Who is t really is like to know.

theres None I heard in this forum unless it got transferred that went to Texas.

i know lots of vj members writing their vj timelines as Texas but that's just a mistake btw. Most people put Texas because they send it to the lockbox or the courtier address in Texas.

If one has a WAC number it equals to California, literally its California code.

All k1 first goes to California. Only additional check necessary ones get that transfer.

I can’t believe people have already got their NOA2 ..! That’s incredible.

Are things speeding up or were they just lucky ?

We have to watch and see if more November filers get approved in the coming week
