I'm happy for the members, I'm pissed at uscis. But yeah don't tell her I don't think it's necessary to worry her for this thing. If we see or hear further and this continues I'll let everyone know. Right now this looks like an anomaly.

There was one expedited approval with their received date. WAC ends 4205.

I am really happy for them. I’m really pissed at USCIS.  What else can happen?  Oh well. Tomorrow is another day...day 239

The only reason I can think of for being pissed at USCIS is the backlog,   I think it's great that 1 or 2 petitions were approved early,  but don't think for a minute the circumstances of these petitions were identical to yours, most likely they were NOT,  They could be Federal employees for all we know,  people who have already gone through a background check at DHS,  I'm just throwing one possibility out there..   I accepted the fact I have to wait 6-7 months, I don't like it, but theirs nothing I can do about it, all the bitching in the world isn't going to speed it up.

Congratulations to those who received NO2, I'm truly happy for you! :)

Yes sure and there is not one case in the past four months but 2 cases from same date has two extraordinary circumstances yet not even an expedite??

it is not about someone being approved, that is a happy thing. But uscis by stating in the website, saying they go in order they received, and saying they are doing june 27 yet accidentally nov. 16 ran through the package is NOT a normal situation. It is an anomaly and is something to be angry about. Not something to be angry at people who got it but it is something to be angry at uscis.

Yes!  I am so happy for the approval but USCIS is definitely screwed up.

No. There are reasons beyond the backlog. I have gone through a very stringent background check with DHS. I spend lots of Federal funds on FHWA projects. My current position is a consultant on a 14+ billion dollar program with some serious federal and state background checks. I’m at 8 months of waiting while they filed 168 days later with an agency that claims to process petitions in the order they receive them. That agency also claims that they are processing June 27 petitions which is 3 weeks past mine but they approve November petitions while skipping half of June, ¾ of July all of August, all of September and all of October petitions... no, we have the right to be mad. A process that used to take 3 months now is over 8.

Again, I am very happy for the people who were approved. I am upset with the mental midgets who can’t seem to figure out how to process files in the way they advertise their process. That has nothing to do with the backlog, which did not exist until they decided to reprioritze the petitions in the first place. They created the backlog themselves. It didn’t exist before they decided to put family visas on the back burner.

If it is true!  Without a WAC I still lean towards expedited. The first June expedited petitions were approved in July. They have slowed down enough that 69 days could be an expedite. I hope.

@John & Rose /( @Naes too),

Do you mean you think that the reason that these applications got approved was because they were expedited cases and the applicants didn’t mention it/want to display favouritism (I can’t really understand your slang, lol)??

The picture of the NOA2 that was deleted definitely did not have anything listed in the “priority date” box. Doesn’t that box refer to an expedited case? The box was definitely blank....

No I didn't say that, and we both acknowledge it was not expedited?

If they were that would be understandable.

This is USCIS's neglect on processing the things the way they state.

I don't think it has anything to do with the applicants. It more like seems like a random mistake on USCIS side.

As I repeat btw, I am happy for the applicants, not happy with USCIS.

And as these cases are not expedited, this shouldn't have happened.

I think you took my question the wrong way. (Blushing)

I just wanted to understand what John was saying in the post I quoted (I thought you could clarify).

I also wanted to state what I saw about the priority date on the NOA2 picture seeing that not a lot of ppl got to see it to confirm that it was definitely blank. But I wasn’t sure if I was correct in assuming that’s what “priority date” meant/ refers to an expedite.

Im sure the lucky lottery winners hold no malice towards any of us who are angered by this new development as they know it has nothing to do with them and everything to do with USCIS.

There was another case in November that was expedited and updated online.

These cases are also not updated online - (which is again Goooooooshhhhh USCIS seriously!)

(I saw the noa finally btw and I know it is a normal case - we both know they were not expedited and we do believe in the members are genuine. we did however had some trolls in the past and that is why I was skeptical)

I mean for me even though I did wait double their time, as I really sincerely do not want my noa before April cause I would be in big trouble if I get it, I felt bad seeing the numbers. For John and many others who are x3 the time obviously felt angry. Not towards people but towards USCIS

I sincerely hope this may mean maybe they are changing something, which would be good for everyone here.

But at the same time (excuse my swearing) F USCIS!
