Those timelines make me so jealous.  Reality now is that NOA2s are a good 5 to 6 months.  Imagine the days when the entire process only took that!  Hopefully those numbers will come back but it won't be too soon.  Last year it was only 40 days for NOA2!  I saw one that was 37 days to NOA2 and 50 days to interview! We are a MINIMUM of 160 for NOA2 now.

Yeah but you never know, you could be lucky and I can be too, we just have to wait.

Honestly, I would have gone the K-1 route anyway.  Even an extra month or two together is well worth it.  I just wanted you to hear about the option before you file.  There are some here that would have gone the CR route.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

12-14 months for CR 1 is way too long for me as well. I just want to go there and see him every day. Hence I chose K1. Hahaha

Hey Fam! My fiancé and I just filed our I-129F form on October 30th but we'll be included with the November filers since that's when we'll receive our NOA1. We're very excited to begin our journey in this process that will unite us forever. Looking forward to staying in touch with everyone here.

also @Carolina Dalton, I was wondering if it was possible for you to edit the name of this forum cause you spelled Filers incorrectly. It made it a bit difficult to find this group and it'll be best to make it easier on the rest of our november filers family. Thanks!

I would remove the pages from the plastic wallets and the binder. Just get a big clip and clip it at the top and put in an envelope.

What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

Also based on the specifications stated on the USCIS website you should avoid using binders.

Quote

In preparing your packet, remember:

  • Do not use binders or folders that we cannot easily disassemble.
  • Use fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.
  • Sticky tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. For easy filing, place the tabs on the bottom of the page, not the side.
  • Do not use heavy-duty staples; instead use fasteners or heavy clips.
  • Do not submit originals unless specifically required.
  • Do not submit oversized documentation unless it is necessary.

I didn't use the binder because it was too big, I just take everything out, and leave the pages on the plastic wallets and i send it like that.

As others said, it's much better to use a heavy clip to keep all the papers together. It may look more organized to you the way it is now, but that configuration will surely annoy the person reviewing it, and what's worse, since they'll have to take all the papers out of the plastic wallets, something might get lost while doing so.

They will still accept it, of course, but the easier you make it to them, the better. Just my two cents!

...and good luck, by the way ;)

I already sent it like that,  why you guys keep complaining about it? Lol  I didn't put every page in a clear wallet I only use like 10 or less clear wallets. I like it that way, and I will send it again like that if I have to.

I mailed our petition today. I used paper clips and a heavy duty binder clip  to secure the entire package. I did; however, use the clear collage photo pages to show time spent with one another and his family.  My thoughts were that the reviewer can easily see the pictures and read the details on the back.
