I don't think you have to follow up with them, but you can if you want.  Considering doing the same myself, but will probably wait until the end of this week.

The NOA2 notice is the approval notice.

The petitioner will receive it though, not the beneficiary.

Not too many instructions on it though. You will find more information here on what comes next.
