I did not see any updates yet for the 8th today. We'll see how it looks during the scan tonight. Rechecking every 10 minutes isn't going to help... relax, try to enjoy the day and stay busy... it could be a few days, a week or two yet. It's just hard to guess so might as well live and be productive in the meantime.

I am November 10th too!! I am stressing out. I am a teacher and thought I would have my hunny here for the summer but now it is looking more and more like that is not going to happen......

I haven’t logged in since I made my account but I’ve been monitoring this website and the forum silently. I’m on day 197 today. Sent mine without pictures so I’m kind of nervous but I’ve heard people get approved without pictures so I’m trying to keep my faith high and stay positive. This long wait is so frustrating as we technically are about to enter 7 months within a week or so. Frustrating part is I found out I was pregnant 2 months after I submitted my application 🤦🏽‍♀️  So all you November 6th people I’m with you, I’m waiting. Checked numbers close to mine and only 2 has been approved. But they’re numbers way before mine that hasn’t been approved and I’m just confused about how they select which ones to work on. Almost seems like they select them randomly

My sanity plan for the next few weeks:

1) Will not comment here unless I have something positive/funny to contribute (you're all more than welcome to hold me accountable, but just remember "funny" is subjective )

2) Check case status only 2x per day (once in the morning, and then after USCIS offices close EST)
3) Banish to the depths of hades my personal fear that our case will be one of those stragglers left unapproved even months from now

... May need help on that last one.

We are also November 10th. We are considering moving to Tucson or El Paso Tx because we want to live in a warmer dry climate plus the average house in Denver now cost $500,000. I hope you and your hunny get approved soon! Yes I want my love here before the weather gets cold so we can have our planned wedding outside on September 8th, plus hiking and camping in the Rocky Mountains.

 believe they go grab a box out of pile and start working on it. If your box doesn't get picked up yet, you wait. If your employee goes on vacation, your box sits on their desk. If your employee is a slow worker, you wait.  It is pretty random, unfortunately.

Very annoying. I’m really not supposed to say but I work in their lockbox facility and we have 3 days to key the work out. We get work on our end done pretty quickly. For instance, yesterday some were asked if they wanted to go home because we had low work, of course I stayed. The delay comes from their service centers and it just seems like they’re understaffed

Hey guys wanted to give you all some hope!! Once NOA2 comes through the whole process goes insanely quick! Anyone else going through London my advice:

 

call NVC and get your number so you have it ASAP then book your medical as soon as you have your number (make sure you order your police check well in advance) then complete all your online forms for London and book your interview! The interview is no we’re near as scary as I thought it would be and I had my visa in hand 7 days after the interview (including the weekend in those days). Hoping you all get your NOA2’s soon, when I got mine I didn’t get an update online it just went in the mail to my fiancé! The end is near keep your hopes up xxx
