We got approved! NOA2 May 18 on new website. K1 received Nov. 30 and NOA1 Dec. 1. Old site and app still says received. It took 168 days. For a while I was confused that I was a December filer, but found out I am a November filer. Hang in the guys, they are moving and grooving with November applications. Good luck, it will come! And congrats for those approved!

Important Question: I just found out I might be able to qualify for expediting the K1 visa process because of financial loss. I wish I would have known this earlier, but I was so busy with very large intense work projects. I can't afford for this process to go on for months longer than what I was expecting because, recently my Filipina's job ended and this week needed medical care. I am having to pay for all of her expenses, housing, food, clothes, etc and this week she had to have unexpected surgery. My NOA1 date is Nov 10th but I am taking a larger financial hit with her surgery and she will need more care. What is the best way to approach to get my case expedited. Should I call my senator, call USCIS directly or are there other options. Who knows maybe I will get approved this week but I can't afford to anymore of a financial hit if this process by chance takes months longer than originally expected. Thanks

Great idea! Lets all just put our anxiety to good use. Learn to drive, study a new skill, fitness programs, get a hobby, write a book :)

We can do this! It may feel like our lives are on pause waiting for an approval but hey, the world is still turning and we will get our turn.

At this point your probably best to just wait it out, you're almost there and an expedition request could just throw a monkey wrench in it and take even longer at this point.

Additionally, I believe it has to be the US Citizen on the edge of financial ruin and something the spouse would be able to help out with, not the other way around.

I don't think the complexity of the case matters unless an rfe is given the waiting time is unpredictable. I am seeing individuals with simple cases with longer waiting times than those with red flags or backgrounds. I think its dependent on the case worker imo

Glad to see all the approvals come in! It looks like for whatever reason they started on the 16th, started working their way towards the end of the month and then restarted at the beginning of the month and are up to about the 8th right now, but all those dates are not yet 'complete' Here's to hoping we all get our notices soon!

Perhaps that phone call to remind them that we are aware of them not processing cases as received order might of worked :D^_^ either way praying that next week we see some decent movement.  :jest:

Wow I'm very sorry. I know how it is to feel like you are getting good news with that email only to just be upset in the end.
