May I know what is your basis when you scan the list? Is it coming from the timeline of the members here or also from the USCIS app? And with the list of scans, does it apply to all types of visa? (CR1, K1, etc.)

I believe the basis from the scans is the USCIS app and pertaining to K1 visa applications only.

I concur.... Scan is running right now. I saw at least 1 November 2nd (I think it was the 2nd). I didn't see the 6th one, but it's hard to watch all the cases as they go by on my screen.

Honestly not seeing that many in the first half though so I don't want to get too excited yet, but we'll see....

I'll let the scan finish, compile results, update everything and post up results soon!

I actually seen more approvals for the 6th then 2nd. But, at least the found the beginning of the month

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

How Does "The Scans" Work / Can I Have This Magic Data?

The scans are not magic or pulling from secret information.

The scans pull the same information everyone has access to using the 'old' website, listed at the bottom of my signature line.

This is the same data that phone apps like 'Case Tracker' use. The phone apps will scan 500 cases at a time, but they show all case types, and you can only filter once you have the results.

The scans are simply doing the same thing, we just filter out all non I-129Fs get the status of the cases from the above website, compile the data and display it for you.

It boils down to taking the information you all already have access to and searching it, keeping track of it, filtering it, refreshing it, and counting it.

Ohh I see, so that's how it works. Thank you for clarifying things up :)

Here is an example of a mini scan I did using the Case Tracker app:

1)The RED circle contains a NOA1 receipt number that is a "basic" starting point for a scan for Nov 20th.

How did I get this number? I asked a veteran here on VJ what number to start from to look up Nov 20th.

How did the veteran get that number? Rigorous and constant scanning using the same or similar apps and keeping track of EVERY number that they scan along with what DATE they correspond to and what TYPE of visa they correspond to as well. Not sure how they keep track of all of the numbers but I would imagine it would be with some type of spreadsheet software.

2)The YELLOW circle denotes the number of NOA1 receipt numbers I want the app to scan for. 500 is the max.

3)The PURPLE arrows show the different types of Visas that are found in this search of those 500 receipt numbers. As you can see I did not narrow it down to a certain type of Visa yet. There are a few different types of Visas in the few receipt numbers on my screen but I only want to look at I129F's so....

4)If I wanted to narrow down my search I would have clicked on the area in GREEN circle and chosen I129F.

Get an app and start playing around with it. The more you play with it the more you will understand.

The "starting" receipt numbers for each day of November are found a few posts back or originally on page 107 of this very thread. They will help you if you want to look up certain dates in November.
