I'll be 41 and probably juuuust getting to wear my wedding dress (for the first time too, lol).

We've been long distance confidantes since we met when he was 19 and I was 27.

14 years this October. ❤

Wow that is a pretty long time. We know each other since almost 8 years but met in person 5 years ago the first time. Si you already have a wedding dress? Must be sooo exciting. I still have no idea what kind of dress I want. I just know that I don't want a big dress. Will you wear a big one?

No I don't have a wedding dress yet. Ive looked at styles for over a year though. I just started getting active again since the start of May by riding my bike for transportation so I'll wait a bit for a few pounds to shed before I get measured.

I won't wear a big one but I know I don't want one of those short courthouse ones even though we are just eloping. I'll still have a full length one but I have no desire to be Cinderella lol.

Everyone is different. There is no trend for how notification is received.

This is how mine went:

1) Received notification by email from OLD website. (Old website had updated my status at same time)-May 8th 11:18am PST. All apps I have also sent me an update of the status change.

3) Received notification by email from NEW website. (New website updated my status at same time)-May 9th 9am PST.

BUT I've read the opposite scenario too. There really no trend so check both would be my advice if you don't have them set to send you email notification

So on day 169 for us we got an RFE.  I wasn’t notified.  My fiancée saw it when he looked up our case number.  I am super bummed and worried.  I know it’s not a denial, but makes me nervous.  Just thought i would let everyone know.  My received date is 11/21.

From following previous months, rfe is usually not bad at all. Send in what they request and you should be approved relatively quickly.

It had better pour when it does rain, because if there are 3145 untouched and only 49 approved, then they've only worked around 1% of their inventory and it's already May 9th...  and WE CANNOT GO DOWN AS THE MONTH THAT BROKE USCIS.

Thank you so much for your words.  I’m taking all the encouragement I can get.
