What really get me pissed off is the comment saying that my comment is unnecessary. I am pointing out that there's actually no news for early Nov filers. And pointing out this is a late Oct case and don't get too excited and then get disappointed later.

It is totally fine that Linafay doesn't realize she is Oct filer but not Nov filer and she is new to VJ and would like to share her news with us.

And for those who are blaming me that I am posting with negativity. Fine, you guys are so calm and so relaxed and so chill. Applaud.

so on my NOA 1 the received date says Feb 26th so that is my real date yea? LOL I think I got it

Vj timeline normally asks for noa1 (receipt date, the late one) but then in October we started gathering this infor from old website, and we realized they generally go by the date online (which is the received date) so in order to be able to tell where they are we kind of messed up how these months were separated (I’m being generous by saying we but really I messed this up) but doesn’t really matter because they don’t go by months or anything they just go date by date (although November is in the hands of a rogue adjudicator team :)

Nobody is calm anymore.

It is 1 day difference sharing good news. It’s nobodys fault to have this mess. It is one day before nov 1 in this mess where they are jumping everywhere, I wouldn’t even consider that bad news.

by the way Linafay is not that new of a member either...and again by how you should fill visajourney timelines she would be a november filer... taking it as a hope or not is your choice.. you can just realize that’s not received date and let it go..

@CCCCCF I know you didnt mean any harm on anyone and I know you are just frustrated as all others out here waiting for their NOA2. I understand how hard it is that USCIS seemed to have started in the middle of the month instead of the beginning. And to wonder every morning “what the hell happened and when would they finally start on your case”. We all understand that. Still rooting here for your approval soon. May it rain approvals on us all!

Got this notification this morning! Very thankful that we were one of the random cases looked at and sorry for those that should have been approved before us! But hope this gives everyone hope! Was only 169 days I think! Not sure which date you're supposed to count from!

Hi everyone, first time posting here. Also hoping for NOA2 soon.

I have a question regarding the new website.

I've gone to https://my.uscis.gov/ but I can't seem to find where you check status.

Am I looking on the correct site?

Apologies if this question has been asked before.

Hello Guys,

I have a question. Did you guys submit the Affidavit of Support Form I-134 with your I-129F? I am confused as I have seen on some websites that say that I-134 should be filed with I-129F. I thought Affidavit of Support form is filled out when your fiance has an interview and you can take it with you to the interview. Any insights? Thank you.

That's only for when when you are ready for the actual interview at the embassy. The affidavit of support is filed AFTER your petition is approved.
