Taking out your frustrations on people who were simply posting an update seems unnecessary.  Have a nice day.

Just post in Oct thread. Why posting in Nov. Splitting the thread by month is helping each month is get a clear update where they are.  If not, everyone just post in one thread. Why bother having so many threads?

 I am having a nice day but again you don’t get to tell me my what is unnecessary.

By the way;

Vj actually works by noa1 date not received date... we created the received date system recently about 3 months ago in order to be able to scan...

so that was actually in the right forum...

The NOA1 date on my official form says November 1st. So sorry for assuming that I was a November filer. My mistake, but I dont feel like I should be blamed when my form says November first. Like @Emm2018 said, this is the system's fault. It's not common knowledge to assume you are an October filer with a NOVEMBER NOA1 date! Come on now. Geez.

It sometimes feels bad, not anyone else but for the person that mean post affects..

I’ve been there.. sometimes support is needed.

people will be in good mood, bad mood, terrible mood. This is a place for discussion as long as nobody takes things to another level.

As sometimes people even backlash good mood posts apparently...

Please ignore...sometimes responding is like banging your head against a brick wall. Some people are just set in their ways and don't see their negativity and lack of tact. Rude is rude. It is not your fault. My NOA1 says February 26th, but the new website says March 1st so am I February or March? IDK, but what I know is I want my man home!!!!!!!

There are two dates on your NOA-1. Your notice date and your receive date. The notice date is just the date that the notice was sent out, it has no status what so ever. The receive date is the date that the actual form was received by the USCIS. So that is the date we on VJ work with as that was the date they work with in the old website and the scans we do.

On the new website they work with another date that is the date they put you in their system. Its usually a couple days later than the NOA-1 receive date.

Hope that makes it clear ^_^

@Linafay

congrats ❤️

Please ignore the negativity.

@CCCCCF

ignore the positivity please.

If you’ve been on vj for a while now you would know people tend to put their frustration on others and that’s not really any kind of support towards anyone.

What really get me pissed off is the comment saying that my comment is unnecessary. I am pointing out that there's actually no news for early Nov filers. And pointing out this is a late Oct case and don't get too excited and then get disappointed later.

It is totally fine that Linafay doesn't realize she is Oct filer but not Nov filer and she is new to VJ and would like to share her news with us.

And for those who are blaming me that I am posting with negativity. Fine, you guys are so calm and so relaxed and so chill. Applaud.
