I did the first couple days earlier today and no movement at that point in time. Planning on letting the normal workday hours pass and then do a full scan and see.

Happy thoughts for today now that it's almost our time:

1) Got on my bike a rode to the library in the sun. (FYI: I don't have a PC at home for lack of wanting to move with a tonne of stuff so I go to the library when I can. PS I completed all of the I129F package for my Fi on my little phone and a PDF editor, lol).

2) Did a run through of the I134 as I have never really looked at it/what was required. I was definitely overwhelming myself with it's complexity. Whew!

3) Revamped our Intent to Marry declarations with Consulate Address and rewording to reconfirm our intentions to marry.

4) Made a list for my Fi to gather his documents I'll need for the interview (well the non-time-sensitive ones, ie Original Birth Cert, Certified Divorce Decree, Copy of his 2017- 1040 tax form, 2017 W2's and the Lease for his apartment) and gave him a deadline of 3 weeks, lol so I can fill out the I134 and have him sign it when I go down for my surprise visit.

Tomorrow, I'm going to check on my immunization status and find out if I need to get any boosters and ill tackle the Proof of Employment Letter template I'll have him send to his boss and maybe go through the DS 160 and save it.

Oh! And Yes....I finally received my police clearance from when I lived overseas. It took me three months of emails to them to actually get the ball rolling (third world country issues) and then another month to get it in the mail.

...I think I'll wait to do the Evidence of Ongoing Relationship in the span while waiting for the interview...

Anything else I can be doing?!?!

We're almost there!

PS it feels like I haven't done jack sh!t in 6 months.

Just thought I'd let you know, i've done the same thing and Im a January filer's Canadian fiancee lol. I also did templates up for the employment/bank letters yesterday. Msg me if you want to take a look at them and use them. Also, do you need to do the copy of the 2017-1040 tax form? I thought that getting copies of the IRS TRANSCRIPTS (an "IRS-GENERATED SUMMARY OF RETURN) which you request on the IRS website suffices? Let me know if i'm off base on that! I did the immunization stuff today, need to do a booster for my Tdap since its every 10 years but then also asked the doctor to run a blood test for the other stuff. That combined with your immunization record that you can request from a local public health office website should be good!

Hahaha! Can never be too ready!

Mine has the IRS Transcript I think as the 1040 does not suffice as proof of income for the financial aid department at his school. Im not sure with the terms and I have been unable to find out what exact Tax Form is needed for Montreal so I am a bit at a loss as for which form to ask for. His best friend does all of his accounting though so Ive told my Fi to ask him which form would be better for his financial situation/our visa situation. Not too sure though as my Fi is very ignorant hence why I'm doing everything for us. Hoping I'll be able to research some info soon though that I will be obtaining the correct tax form.

I actually (luckily) found my baby immunization record the other day. I didn't end up going to the Health Unit today but I'll do that my next day off in case I too, need time to do boosters.

Gotcha! Yea, i am also at a loss for all the types of numbered US forms out there and what is right and wrong to include. My head spins half the time. I saw on a lawyer's website that for all I-134's (as you fill out an I-134 even for those who need a visa to visit the U.S. and so you sponsor them to visit) that the "The consulate prefers to see the tax return(s) in the form of IRS TRANSCRIPTS (an "IRS-GENERATED SUMMARY OF RETURN), which can be requested online (https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript) on the IRS website." Let me know if you find out something different!

I am also the "paper pusher" amongst us for this process. My OCD-ness helps me project manage the heck out of this. Im sure i frustrate him a lot, but I think he is also happy not to have to re-read things a million times if I'm willing to. Plus, he did the I-129F and i found things i would have done differently lol. SOOOOOOOO, now i'm the boss :P lol

I haven't been up to the Blue Ridge yet but I've heard it's beautiful and seen pics. Might be a thought too as Mr. Diva wants mountains. We have no plans yet and I really don't care. PM me if you come across any good elopement ideas out that way. 😍
