Your case will receive a case number at NVC, then it will be forwarded to the US Embassy for the interview.  Congratulations on getting this far in the process.

i hope u realize that this is a hard embassy for any visa approval and the initial stage u went thru is only an approval that all the documents are in order

most important is the upcoming interview

make sure your financee knows about you, your family, your life in the US / they can ask "what did u eat for breakfast?"  they asked my Adil

not what do u like but what did u eat /catch 22 here as there is a 5 hour time difference and the CO expects the financee to say "not have breakfast yet , still sleeping" the did u eat (that morning) instead of do what do u usually eat is to catch to see if financee has a command of the English language and understnds do and did difference

so tell him all things high school, college, family and friends, your hobbies and work

quiz him about these before the interview

it is now up to him to prove a serious and loving relationship with u

Good luck and hopefully happy results and a blessed marriage

we all know the journey is long and hard and heartbreaking at times

If you guys have kids then uve applied to the wrong visa category, it should be a i130 application rather.

Our case was last update at the ghana embassy october 11 and the lastest update was october 30, however we have not yet receive package 3 & 4. What does it contain? Should we wait for the package 3&4 or move on with paying the visa fee, submitting ds160, medical n booking the interview? Thank u
