I talked someone who was in the same situation at the beginning of the year, and they have their interview just 3 weeks after signing up and said they go their letter at the information window at the consulate and never received it in the mail.

I might just have to try that although its a big risk.

Oh okay, have you got an email from

the embassy since it’s been ready status. My case barely changed to ready today. Am thinking should I wait I try to do it on my own.

Never received anything other than the NVC expedite email.

They say it can take up to a month.

 

There's no appointments available, I got lucky and got someones cancellation, but now I'm not even sure whats going on cause of the appointment letter.

Hi my case was also expedited ... I got packet3 but still waiting for packet 4 is has been 2 weeks now ... I wanted to set up my apptionment but I hear I have to wait on the letter

it varies by embassy, they have the same as me.

 

I thought there was only packet 4 for CR1, what's packet 3?

Packet 3 is like a welcome letter plus a form ( applicant statement) u have to fill in saying who's  going to the interview with u

Nvc  received my package on 10/26/2017

and I'm still waiting

Sounds like its not even at the embassy yet, you have to wait for an interview to be scheduled, you can try calling NVC

I believe Packet 3 is the NVC welcome letter, Packet 4 is the appointment letter from the embassy

I never got a welcome letter from the Nvc I called to know when the received my case after I got my MCN I request a expedition and when the embassy got it they sent my packet 3 with instructions

Did you guys waited 11 weeks to get case close from nvc?? It's been 5 weeks for me and it feels forever!

I received a letter via email when my case was expedited and sent to the embassy.

For Mexico the NVC schedules the interview with the embassy but in my case I get to do it directly.

It's currently averaging 6-7 weeks, so you're almost there, not too long ago it was actually 11 weeks.

Sometimes high fraud countries take longer, or if your case is complicated.

Yeah I got that too, I was I could schedule my interview myself , they take so long for a damm letter

Some people from Mexico say they never get it or it comes after the interview, my main issue is they're saying its not even generated yet and they can't see anything about the case in their system.
