So your i-130 was approved. Now you will start the process for the NVC for that you will need the NVC case number and the invoice ID number. Maybe on Monday call up the NVC asking them if they got your case if they did then you can ask them for those and start the process on https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

Hey,

Thanks for your reply, I called today but they said to give them 2 weeks from the date it was sent. I hope things are smooth sailing from this point on.

Thanks for your reply. But I meant was it updated to sent to nvc then later nvc got it, or nvc got it before it waa updated on uscis? Mine approved Nov, 16 and so far it says case was approved. So im trying to figure out if it was sent to nvc or still at USCIS

In my case case was approved Aug 31, Sent to DOS Sep 25 and Received by NVC on Oct 3.

I strongly believe it is queued to be sent out.

I've also had a NVC case close on Nov 16 and only received a letter on Nov 21 with the case number and INV number saying i can now start my process.

You can see it takes them a really long time to send out something.

My case was sent out from USCIS on Nov 8th and NVC received it on the 13TH. You will have to either call USCIS to see if it’s been sent out yet and if it has then call NVC to see if they received it.

So i got an update on the uscis site... saying the post office returned the letter of approval, becuase they couldnt deliver it... and it says we should request for it to be delivered again on the uscis site. Which we have done yesterday. Nvc also have received case and they asked us to call by friend for case number

Checklist 28-Nov

My police certificate was apparently the wrong document :/

did they ask you to send it to NVC or only take it with you to the embassy for the interview?
