Call them Friday or Monday

Wow you’re lucky, because in Ghana you can’t bring your spouse to the interview with you. My husband was gona wait and come whenever my interview was gona be (hopefully jan.) and wait outside the embassy for me. But he’s Gona for the holidays instead. I’m very hopeful that my interview will be in jan so it’ll be too much for him to buy another ticket in Jan. But I’ve also heard good things about the interview process in Ghana. I’m just excited this entire process is almost over. 🤗

Not sure if I'll be in the interview..I think it depends on the CO but I wanted to be there anyway, I think it will be beneficial either way.   Besides... another excuse to be with my husband .

My case status online before today was: Your case was approved on October 30, 2017.

Now my online status has changed to the following: On November 22, 2017, we sent your case to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing.

What does this mean and what are the next steps for me?

Hey Bud - Read and follow these instructions - Basically call NVC and ask them for case number ...

Mine was delivered on Monday but they haven’t input in their system. I would give it another week until we call for status.

Just called NVC (no wait to talk to a rep!) and they confirmed case was completed as of today, in line for an interview now.

SD: 10/6

CC: 11/22

6 weeks and 5 days, not bad at all.

I am getting my packages ready to send off as soon as i pay the IV fee. Can I write the case number on the top of all the papers i am sending? Or should I use sticky notes?
