It does not usually take that long.   It took my case about two weeks.  Once you get the case number and invoice number from them you can start processing on line.  I would start calling them daily to check in to get the information sooner.

What website are you checking on? The webpage where you paid your fees indeed will say the package is at NVC until CC.

 

This is the website that will say that you're required to send in your documents till you have a CC. https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

If this website says at NVC and your AOS-fee is gone on the other website (https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx) THEN you have a Case Complete.

That first website just has a pop up screen after you fill in your case number. That says 'at NVC'. Second website says paid under AOS.

I would advise you to call the NVC then. This sounds like a case complete, but they are the ones to affirm that. Could you keep us updated on what they say, and update your timeline if you have a case complete?

I received my case and invoice number today. I already completed the DS-261 this morning. The rep said that the fees were being issued today and I should be receiving those later today.

I just got an email from NVC expedite that my case was shipped to the embassy, I checked the current status and it says IN TRANSIT

Woohoo.

If I'm lucky they actually sent it Friday, but there's no way to really tell.

 

Note I still waited out the whole NVC process, I just got to schedule my own interview in this case, NVC rep said I get to skip people waiting ahead of me, we'll see, hoping for a January interview.

 

Probably another week or 2 till they actually get it in their system.

Interesting, I just called NVC to see when it was actually sent out and to see if I can track it anyhow, the rep told me he was pretty sure it was sent electronically, which would be even better. I'm sure it still needs some time to process, but that should save me a few days, I wonder if it will even ever change to Ready on the NVC portal.

I haven't scheduled an interview, I will be able too once they process my case in to their system.

Should be like how K1 works, for CR1 the NVC schedules it for you with the embassy.
