They received my case on the 13th and I called again today and they said it can take 2 weeks for them to get the case into the system and generate a case number. I’m going to call again on Friday and then start again next week.

Call them next week they should have a case no. for you. But you're 11 weeks starts from the 13th hopefully you dont have to wait the whole 11wks.

Today I just send them nvc package. Once it’s delivered, should I call them to get the scan date? Or will they let me know?

They don't send out emails anymore. You should call them in 3-5 days for your scan date

Mailed out my husbands packet on Wednesday. USPS delivered today but NVC is closed since it’s saturday. I received and email from the post office that they’re holding my package since the business has closed. Has this happened to anyone? The email states they’ll mail it the next day business is open. Has this happened to anyone?

Can anyone please explain to me what you're checking when you're checking the status on the ceas? I see that my case is at the NVC now. What are next changes of status that happen? I see some people saying that the case status changed to 'at nvc' only a few weeks to a month after SD.

It does not usually take that long.   It took my case about two weeks.  Once you get the case number and invoice number from them you can start processing on line.  I would start calling them daily to check in to get the information sooner.

Typically  it would say submit docs (even after you have submitted them) until CC.  Once the case is complete it changes to at NVC.  If your status says "At NVC" I would give them a call to check and see if its complete.  Although that would be super fast if your SD is only 11/15.  After your interview is in interview scheduling process it says "in transit" and after interview is scheduled it says "ready".

Hope that helps!

It has said at nvc for a while, but SD was only last week. I thought that when the case is complete that 'paid' on the AOS fee changes to N/A?

What website are you checking on? The webpage where you paid your fees indeed will say the package is at NVC until CC.

This is the website that will say that you're required to send in your documents till you have a CC. https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

If this website says at NVC and your AOS-fee is gone on the other website (https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx) THEN you have a Case Complete.

I hope this helps? :)
