I was sending those but what should I checkmark in the cover sheet for IRS transcript then? Not available or not applicable ? If not available I have to provide a statement to them why it was unavailable . I’m scared if I put not applicable then they would say it is applicable to everyone . am I thinking too much in to this ?

not applicable is fine, check the NVC site it shows the different options, if you send one option then the other is not applicable.

Okay thanks. I have included federal tax return form, W2 , pay stubs as evidence of income. Hopefully that will be enough for financial documents .

You still wait for NVC processing, but once that's done, instead of waiting for NVC to schedule the interview, they send it to the consulate and then you'll be able to schedule your appointment with them. Its supposedly skips other people ahead of you.

How do you get to expedite the embassy process?

Just got off the phone with NVC and they received our packet today. Scan date 17th Nov.

The 11 week countdown starts now! & hopefully it doesn't take 11 weeks... :)

New here!!

Online Case status says that my case was sent to DOS on November 8th. Called them on wednesday and they said theyve received it but it hasn't been put into their system as yet, I should call back in 2 weeks. Will I get my case number then?

Hey! I got my case number and invoice number 2 days after they said they had received it. It most definitely won't take 2 weeks.. I would call everyday :)

hello!

what does scan date mean?

Hi!

It's the date when they officially have everything in their systems (your packet and DS260) They say that they complete the case 11 weeks from the scan date. So you can officially start counting down :)

I have paid AOS and IV fee online. My lawyer is supposed to start AOS and IV. I've read the NVC process but believe it was for mail instead of electronic processing.

I am confused about AOS and IV packages.  Are those packages sent by NVC to the petitioner?

Try calling late tonight, and if not today should be early next week.
