Did your online status change? Did the AOS fee switch from PAID to N/A?

Hi, calling NVC may get you the results you want mail usually takes a little longer, that happens after the fact they received it could be any amount of time. Calling gets you results, and yes its a pain to get through!!

I call them everyday they open

I just got confirmed scan date today 11/14. The package only got delivered yesterday so I'm happy they scanned it right away. So, 11 weeks is the official time to wait but it looks like some are getting completed case before then. Is it just luck? Should I be calling at any point to find out info? I am the petitioner and my mum is the beneficiary. I checked everything thoroughly but am worried about getting a checklist.

good luck to everyone waiting!

They say up to 11 weeks, but most cases are done at the NVC stage in 6-8 weeks...

Just called NVC since I got to 6 weeks yesterday and I know cases have been averaging 7 week approvals, they said my case was picked up by the document review department a few days ago but it depends on how many people are ahead of me which they don't know. So I'm hoping to hear something next week.

That was VERY quick.

They're averaging 7 weeks right now, I'd say call 6 weeks from the day of your scan date, at that point they should say something like its in the review department, that's what I saw others going through, I just called today and had the same happen to me.

I want to cry!!!! I have a scan date of sept 19 after sending in my husbands birth certificate  (check list)... so I just got off the phone with NVC and they said they receiveda package with scan date of nov 1st?? What the heck??? Sept 19 was the last time we sent something to them, so I asked the agent if she was able to tell me what this package is she said that she cannot until it is assigned to an agent for review ! I wanna cry... she said 11 weeks for this nov 1st package to be reviewed.  What can i do? Any advise anyone? Im upset and disappointed. HELP!
