I'm sorry I'm not exactly sure.  My husband had ours translated in the court (Kacheri).  We submitted our Free will, Nikka Nama, English translate of Nikka Nama and our NADRA certificate.

I just talked to my husband and he said he’s going on Monday to get it translated.

it can easily translated from outside the Courts from Stamp paper sellers for few rupees. There are many people siting there to do so.

New to NVC stage. Just got my status from USCIS on the 8th that my case was sent to the dept of state. Getting documents ready and my question is that I need to provide the Nikah Narma, which I have plus a copy of the marriage registration certificate in English and Urdu but the Nikah is only in Urdu. This does have to be translated, correct? And also it says on the travel.state website that no police certificate is needed for Pakistan. Is that also correct?

must attach a copy of Urdu version of ur marriage certificate along with its translation and Nadra Computerized Marriage certificate. It can be translated from outside the Court Rooms or Kechehri. Police certificate is also required better to get it. In my interview letter they mansion  that if ur country produced police certificate then u should bring it to ur visa interview.

He’s going to get the police certificate for the interview but it says it’s not needed for NVC stage on their website. Given the inaccaurcy of them. It actually says for consular processing it’s not required but he’s going to get one just in case.

hello

can anyone help  . ..

1 week after sending the AOS package and  IV package..NVC emailed us that documents have been missing  AoS form and the evidence of income..

which we have included it in our package . .

is pay stubs counted as evidence of income??coz we have send it also . .also the W2 and TIR

- I-864 form (make sure you have the right version that's suitable for your case)

- IRS transcript (transcript is must have, W2 is optional; in some cases just W2 is fine but most of the time they request for transcript)

- employer proof of employment and incomepay letter (notarized) (heard from other VJ member this one will be requested at embassy if not included in package, better include it early)

- pay stubs (not on checklist but definitely solid proof of income)

Read on other threads that writing your case number on each page of the documents helps decrease the possibility of NVC losing the papers...

I'm not sure about speeding things up...but I called this morning and was given my interview date.  They told me my interview was scheduled on the 9th but I still have not received an email.  So it may at least give you more info.

We received a checklist after case complete saying they want everything relating to the 2016 tax return of my joint sponsor. We did send in his 2016 W2, and when I called NVC to check, they confirmed they just need his W2. Am I right in thinking only the 2016 W2 is needed for the 2016 tax return? Or is the 2015 W2 needed as well?

Also, no interview date for me yet. Congrats @Ahmed&Freda!

13-Mar-18 - POE

27-Apr-18 - Green card received

13-Jan-20 - Mailed out I-751 packet

15-Jan-20 - NOA date

12-Feb-20 - Biometrics appt completed; Status: Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken

07-Oct-20 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview

06-Jul-21 - Interview scheduled
