Good  News Everyone !!

Just called NVC and get an interview date of 4th December at Dhaka Embassy. My CC was 10/30. :jest: NVC still scheduling interviews, so those who are waiting for interview dates, make sure to call everyday. I hope yours one is there as well.

Congrats!! Did your status change on the CEAC website ? I saw someone that had a status of " IN TRANSIT " when they scheduled his interview.

New to NVC stage. Just got my status from USCIS on the 8th that my case was sent to the dept of state. Getting documents ready and my question is that I need to provide the Nikah Narma, which I have plus a copy of the marriage registration certificate in English and Urdu but the Nikah is only in Urdu. This does have to be translated, correct? And also it says on the travel.state website that no police certificate is needed for Pakistan. Is that also correct?

I did not send the police certificate to NVC because I thought it was not required.  I had no issues, no checklist and received CC last week. However since my husband has seen so many on here getting one he went it got one anyway for the interview just in case.  I don't know if it will be asked for but he does have now.

So with my own experience I can say you don't need it for NVC.  If anyone can confirm if it would be asked for at the inteview that would be great ;)

Do you guys know if there is an option to reschedule interview dates and how much time do they give?  there is a wedding event back home and i want the interview to be at the same days as the wedding so i can take off from work and go and attend both things and bring my wife to US.

You definitely have the option/right to reschedule.

How to reschedule is consulate/embassy-specific. And so is the waiting time to get a new appointment (you should be able to see the date when you are rescheduling though).

hello, my husband just paid the aos fee but couldn't pay the iv fee. IV fee says 0$. what to do guys?

Takes a few days for the AOS fee to be processed and for the IV fee to be available for payment (then it takes another few days to be processed).

Thank you !! No my CEAC site status didn't change yet, still says "At NVC". I called last night and I was told that my interview was scheduled yesterday morning. I will have an email interview appointment letter within a week or so.

Hi all, I got case complete confirmation from NVC over the phone yesterday and today I received a checklist email. Has anyone been through similar experience?

I just posted a question in a new thread. Please take a look at it and let me know if you have any thoughts.

Thanks

Thank you. Do you think it would be fine if my husband translates the Nikah into English with the putting this at the end also?

You heard something back that quickly?sent mine in two weeks ago with no response so far. Did you send IRS transcripts also? Although it isn't uncommon for stuff to be missing as NVC does lose stuff all the time. Maybe you should call Monday and verify.I'm planning on doing the same myself.

I'm sorry I'm not exactly sure.  My husband had ours translated in the court (Kacheri).  We submitted our Free will, Nikka Nama, English translate of Nikka Nama and our NADRA certificate.
