You do not need a police certificate from the US.  My husband lived here for 10 years so we asked that same question and were told there is not one that is needed for the US.  They will do their own police checks when they review your case!

Just called NVC (no wait to talk to a rep!) and they confirmed case was completed as of today, in line for an interview now. SD: 10/6 CC: 11/22 6 weeks and 5 days, not bad at all.

Just to share with you guys, when i was waiting everyday for NVC processing, i was checking approx every case from July/August/September Scan dates , i calculated the time that took every case for CC

Good  News Everyone !!    Just called NVC and get an interview date of 4th December at Dhaka Embassy. My CC was 10/30.  NVC still scheduling interviews, so those who are waiting for intervie

Hi, 

About how long after you pay the fees can you fill in the IV application? And only after that is filled can you mail the packet out, right?

After both fees show as paid, the DS260 wil get unlocked and you will need DS260 confirmation for your interview.  You could also send in your AOS and Civil documents after the fees are paid.

Padron my ignorance but does anyone know how does one get to know about the second scan date and what does it signify and what is that actually? The 1st one is when NVC scans the docs into the system, am i correct?
