This might have been a bit excessive lol but I had to do it. And now I feel like I should share the info.. don't know if it even helps at all but it can't hurt...

So people waiting for Guatemala embassy now that your case starts with GTM2017673 for current cases and the rest of the numbers are the cases waiting in line... So I checked all the numbers on the website ceac to see where everyone is and to see where I am on the list.. here is the list of cases via there ending #s and where you are placed...

Starting with 02 their Visa has been issued.

03-05 is ready for interview or have already had it.

41 (my case) At NVC

42 Action Required

And cases after 42 don't exist in the system yet.

Sooo that's the info I came up with which leaves 17 cases that need appointments assigned... Anyone know how many appointments Guatemala City takes a month?

I did this so everyone has an idea of where they are at on the waiting list.

Hopefully January is our month.

I looked it up manually in the CEAC website where you check your visa status.

My case number starts with GTM2016. My case was delayed due to personal issues. There may be other applicants that applied before and are waiting for interview as well.

I called NVC today and they do not have an interview date for me yet. They did note that they began to schedule interviews for January. We should be receiving our interview soon. One of my coworkers had her case approved on 09/13/2017 and her interview was scheduled for 12/14/2017. She will be traveling to Guatemala next week. :(

Yeah that's true that's why I said I don't really know if what I did mattered at all lol but hey having some new info sometimes helps the anxiety, atleast for me.

Thank you for the info, I haven't called NVC yet. Atleast we know they are scheduling now so hopefully any day now!

😢 Lucky her! That's just 2 weeks before my approval date so hopefully we are next since yours was completed the 20th and mine the 25th. Hopefully we are the next group! 🙏
