Case Complete to Interview December 2017

Can anybody share some experiences about their interview? Preferably the one with employment based (EB1/EB2 categories).

Just wondering what sort of questions they ask.

Can someone please let me know if I will need to notarize form I-864A or if its only signature that is needed. thanks.

No Kayman, you don't need it notarized, but it has to be manually signed by the sponsor and he/she needs to give you their tax transcript too or tax returns + W-2.

thank you so much. if the sponsor cant find her W2, what can be substitited

What about tax transcripts? if she has tax transcripts you don't need W-2. She can request transcripts online or by phone. It takes about 5-10 days to arrive. I don't know if they will take old paystubs instead of W-2.

Hi dyms. Went to pick my passport up at DHL Wuse 2 but was referred back to Lagos. Showed them my email butt they were like it might be automated but all immigrant visas mus to be collected in lagos. Cheerss. Tot I clarify the earlier info.

Please do you know if the joint sponsor will check the box that says I am the only joint sponsor or the one that says I am the first of two sponsors on the form??. Reason I ask is because the joint sponsor person is married and they file tax return jointly.

hmm I didn't use a joint sponsor, so I am not quite sure..

The NVC send my file to embassy but the embassy didn’t take my file yet. How long is gonna take my file and put in the system? It has been 2 weeks already.

Get ready. We had a five week time span between getting date and the day for interview.

So my case status changed from Ready to.. Ready yesterday..

Got a call from the embassy to send them a police certificate, no interview date yet
