What is the difference between the I 864 and I 864EZ which one should I file.

Could you please give the direction to file either the 184 or 184EZ, just after it generated.

Very simple, there are some check boxes on page one of the I-864EZ that will make the determination that you can or cannot use the form.

I-864EZ if for basic straight forward cases, NO JOINT SPONSOR, INCOME ABOVE 125% OF THE POVERTY LINE, AND NO ASSETS USED. If you need joint sponsor, or assets, then you need to use I-864.

In my case I make 47K per year, and wont need to use assets, or a joint sponsor, so will use I-864EZ

go here http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html and read towards the bottom where it says Notification from the NVC there are specific instructions for each. basically it depends on whether you are using a sponsor for support or are using your own income. the ez is just for your own income, the I864 is for listing your sponsor and additional assests
