We found a cheap, cute apt this weekend, FINALLY. Only 4.42 miles to the beach.

I HAD to buy this yesterday, it's so true. I miss Blighty sooooo much. My friends are getting married in a castle in Scotland Sept 4. We're HOPING to go over then if not, then at Xmas. I can't wait.

I miss London too and I am the American girl hehe. I only lived there for 2yrs but I miss is dearly. I think one day we'll move back to England but only if Neil will live in London instead of Newcastle. London is my favorite city in the world and he hates it :(

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Hey everyone! I can't really say that I miss London at the moment because I'm still here. But, in about 2 months we're moving back to the US and I'm soo sad!! I've been living in London for just over a year and I don't want to leave!! I walk around the city all of the time just looking and absorbing everything around me and it makes me so sad that I have to leave soon!!

I'll be able to join the 'I miss London' group soon I fear!

well - i am now here! It's great to be here and the weather is probably warmer than LA.

I actually got a little choked up going by the old house.

awwwwwwwww. Eat lots of good meats & crisps & go to pubs (for me)!!

LA is pretty warm today.

I miss having a city like London on my doorstep but I get to commute to a decent sized city every day for work so I still get my fill of traffic and road rage. I think the thing I miss the most is regular gatherings with my friends. It didn't have to be a crazy drunken 3am night out in central London. I was just as happy with a couple of beers and some general banter in my local pub on a wednesday night. I miss summer afternoons at the Pitcher and piano in Richomond drinking jugs of pimms. I'll be back for 3 weeks in the summer and I'm really looking to a short return to what used to be normality for me. I love my new life here but occasionally I do hanker for elements of my old life back in Blighty.

Mark :)

well I am now at heathrow and will be back to missing London again.

Such a beautiful week, weatherwise.

I will not be missing the price of eating out or smelling like an ashtray after a night out (though I guess not for much longer)

Yeah, that'll all be a thing of the past in a few short weeks.

Yep, what's the deadline..like June or July, no?

I was going to wish Robin a safe flight, but it's prolly almost over by now, lol.
