Does it? I didn’t know they mentioned it on the letter. I was trying to find a sample letter for SDO but I didn’t.. and I haven’t received mine.

It is ideal if your spouse attends. I've heard this from numerous couples. For the most part they ask questions to both...

Santo Domingo can't legally require you to bring your spouse, but it is highly recommend that both attend the interview.  

 

You've come so far.. there's no reason to risk it for one trip.
