Hi, I am currently in the USA on a K-1 Visa, I have gotten married and sent in all the paperwork. I also sent in for my work authorization, I received notice that my paperwork was received on June 23rd. I was told the work authorization should take 75-90days. I still have not received my authorization or any information on the process. I was wondering if anyone else is dealing with a similar problem, or has any advice for me thank you. I called for an update over a month ago and they said I would receive n update in the mail in 15-930 days, I also haven't received this. It has been over 120 days since the original mail.

The former 90 day processing rule for the EAD/AP card is not in effect anymore meaning that as of January 2017 USCIS says they don't guarantee the processing within 90 days anymore. I heard now the normal processing time is somewhat around 110-130 days. I, myself, was approved after 135 days and had it in hand on like day 142 or so. Don't freak out, you're still within the normal processing time. Probably another week or so, two weeks the most and you should hear from them.

We are July 2017 filers and ours took a little over 100 days but from our forum it sounds like we were one of the lucky ones that were processed on the quicker end of this spectrum. It sounds like you should be receiving it any day. I placed two or three service requests online which I am not sure it if helped but if sure didn't hurt our case.

@acchamp2003I used the website above to place a service request. My husband had a job offer and I wrote that in the comments and that he would like to be able to accept the offer. (We knew the offer was coming in the next week just didn't have the formal offer yet or else we would have tried to expedite at that point). I am not sure if this helped or we were just lucky. Good Luck!
