US petitioner's father's middle name spelled wrong on new marriage certificate.

I recently gotten married and realized I spelled my father's middle name wrong, the paper work has been submitted a week ago. They gave me a photo copy of what my spouse and I filled out, so his misspelled middle name is written in my hand  writing. My father has passed away and had be come naturalized about 24 years ago. I'm a us born citizen, and soon filing for the cr-1 for my spouse. So no need to petition for my father. 

 

How much of a problem will this be if I spelled it right in the forms but not the marriage certificate?

So my spouse left to go back to Russia yesterday afternoon, I had scanned his passport for future use with him scanning the updated pages to me later. I noticed when we filled out his middle name on the marriage certificate we went off of his bio of the passport, but its not translated so we went with letter to letter translation, but on his visas they are translated. His "middle" name has ee in it, and we thought it translated into ee, but his visas say "eye"

 

Does anyone know if this will cause any issues? Our marriage certificate is basically the licenice that we filled out by hand, and the stamp it again making it into the certificate. So everything is written in our handwriting. I had order a handful of certified copied for him and I to hold on too till I get my new ids and a passport with his last name added.

 

Or is it possible that I could send an attached letter stating went did letter for letter translation of his name and didn't realise there was a "translation" of his middle name on the visas? And I try to see if my state can help correct the issue. When I had asked the clerk about the middle name for my father he claims the state only sees the 1st letter in the middle name,  nothing more.... Possiblle let them know this was a translation error?

 

Also if they accept the way we wrote his middle name without the Y,  do we now need to get a police certificate with that middle name and also list it under "other names used?" 

 

We already have to  list his name translated from ukrainian into english since he had a ukrainian passport, which is expired, but got a russian passport due to the area he was born in vote to leave Ukraine and join Russia....... this stuff is a huge mess  that has nothing we did. but his ukraine translated into english is different  compared to russian.
