Cr-1, petitioner living abroad??! Question.

I need some clarification on a couple of things. Is it possible to live abroad with your spouse, while filing/waiting for the cr-1??? If so, how does that work?

 

 

Specifically, how does this impact the affidavit of support and proof of domicile?

Agree with @Dee elle. I knew a couple that stayed together through the whole process  while living outside of the US. The USC in the couple had his parents be sponsors for CR-1 Visa. They had no problems with getting successfully through the process.

We dunnit.  Affidavit was asset-based.

You need to maintain your banks, CC, addy in the US tho.
