Medical Experience at SLEC Manila

We (lizzie009) had our medical last April 19 and 20 and we did pass it!

We had funny memorable experience coz we deviated the steps. When we paid at the cashier the lady guard told us to go to the vital signs instead of going to blood and urine test. I asked Liz why we were there it supposed to be the second to the last step?! so we just did what they told us to do. After vital signs next was the immunization interview then the physical exams. During my physical exams, i told the doctor i have to pee or else it will be difficult for her to check my tummy, im already undress and she just finished checking my chest and throat. She let me pee and waited for me to come back for my PE continuation. She asked me after the call of mother nature if im feeling better and i said yes! so everytime we pass by at the corregidor she smiled at me...lol! Our next step was the Xray, then goes the urine and blood extraction, so thats the end of first day... I think its my lucky day coz we started around 8:30am then done to all my medical exams at exactly 10:30am, no long waiting happened, all runs smoothly.

Second day, I was told to go at 9am for the results but i made it there around 11 am,hmmm heavy traffic in Manila. When the guard check where iam going, he told me im up for immunization. I went there for MMR shot and then to the ground floor for releasing of results. I was quite nervous and worried. I was called at window F, 6 of us altogether, the staff gets our passport, 2x2 photos ( 2 pcs) and signed the form then asked to wait again. I said why is it my process is different from others again?! the usual process is that they call the applicant at designated windows, the applicant gave their passport, photos and signed, the staff explained to them what to do and what they have to do. I keep crossing my fingers and even toes altogether hoping i passed the medical. So when they called me for the second time around, I feel relieved, then she's start explaining to me that i have to bring the xray to my POE, photocopy the vaccination worksheet and so on...honestly i didnt understand what she said coz im so overwhelmed, lol! At 11:45am i got my results.

NOTE:

Its good to memorize your passport number, fiance telephone and address and your case number on filling out forms coz it is always ask...thats all folks!

For those who will have their medical, check Sheriff posts, it really helps!

Nice post, thanks for sharing  I tried to get Claudeth to write all her experiences down but she didn't so it is good to see others posting for future reference! When is your interview, next Friday?

If they gave you your Immunization records copy and CXR plates, then you're just fine so you can relax now and prepare for your Interview and do well.

Yap no need for you to worry abt your medical, coz if there's prob u wont have your xray result and immunization, so all we need now is to focus on our upcoming interview, hope we pass like others do here...what is the prob on your affidavit of support?!

If your hubby's 2006 ITR is only $800 you probably need a co-sponsor. Its great that his mom will be your sponsor but to prove this she should send u proof that she earns that income, (ITR, W2)and u also have to consider your number of household/s (dependents). Why not ask your hubby's employment cert. in his new job stating his new annual income?! maybe that would help too. You have to secure all these documents now to avoid AR coz your getting closer to your interview and the CO here is very much in particular of evidence of support., you have to meet the 125% poverty guideline; here's the link...
