They have NOT approved my I-751. It's going to be 24 months! since I filed. Nothing. Tomorrow it will be 120 days since they approved my N 400, that my status changed to "In line for oath ceremony". No letter yet. Now both processes are out of the normal processing times. :(

I had paid thousands of dollars, being patience, but this is truly frustrating, very unfair situation. Hope you get that letter soon. I really do. In the current political environment, where the president signs on new "staff" every other week related to immigration, the best is to have things sort out asap. Please keep me posted, I ll do the same.

I'm in a very similar situation. I had my N400 interview, and was approved, 3 months ago. My I751 has been pending since February 2017. Yesterday my USCIS account was updated and the N400 section shows: 'We scheduled your naturalization ceremony'. No updates on the I751 part.

Is your status just showing 'inline' or does it show as 'scheduled'? Not sure what this latest update means as I751 needs to be approved first...I assume....

I doubt you're going to get your green card, lol. Congrats again.

Probably not since the letter was initially sent on 10/22/18 (my combo interview date when my IO approved the both applications), but I just received it since they sent it to the wrong address!

The letter states that I will receive a Green Card within 60 days so it's been over 60 days since 10/22/18!

I still have that approval letter too, and I will never receive the 10 year green card obviously, lol

No, that's great!!! That means they're going to send you the letter! You're done!! OMG I am so happy for you LOL. Gotta be becasue I have been dreaming about being done with this process since I started. All you need to do now is wait for that letter, you should get it withing a week (altough they say they have 30 days). My advice: call USCIS as soon as possible...officers (tier 1) have the power to tell you the date of your ceremony (since it was already decide). If they don't tell you, then request (with no fear or shame or hesitation) to speak to a tier2 officer, just say that since you're been waiting for long, you don't want miss Oath (sometimes the letters state your oath ceremony withing the same week). Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was forgetting: don't worry about the update for I751. I might never be updated and that's okay, has happened to a lot of people I know here in this forum.

Good morning everyone

Can you show up to your interview with a baby?

I don't have my interview date yet ( I-751 N-400 Combo probably, I filed my I-751 in March 2017 and my N-400 In February 2018 based on the 3 years rule) but we do not have any family in the area and no nanny.

Have you attended or seen people attend their interview with their children?

Thank you for your feedback

I assume your spouse will care for the baby while the N400 interview is happening, but yes, children are allowed in the USCIS office.

Good Luck!

Yes I agree with Bill & Katya we toke our toddler to my combo interview even though the IO never ask my husband to join in, so my husband just wait in the waiting area with him and keep him busy but quite🤔😄 , I hope you get your interview soon.

The N-445 was uploaded to my online account, the Oath Ceremony is scheduled for 01/15/19. Also, I called USCIS this morning and the officer confirmed that the I751 was approved on 12/27, no RFE or interview. Looks like it's actually happening...I'm almost done :)

Great to hear that!  :dance::dance::dance:

I thought it would be "funny" to make an InfoPass appointment (after becoming a US citizen) to return a Green Card!

In fact, it'd be kind of confusing like "What??? You're a US citizen now!!??  And you made an InfoPass appointment for a Green Card!!??"

Yip, no worries. I was naturalized on 5/23 this year, got my 751 approval on 4/26, and that update/approval went backwards from the approval to "your case has been transferred", and it is still saying that now.
