Hahaha, more like sister. 🙂 I once accidentally didn't select VSC and I saw the timeline.. I almost had a heart attack lol.

CSC is pretty bad as far as processing time goes, it makes VSC look normal by comparison.

I applied for 400 with my 751 pending in early August, I was naturalized on May 23rd. My dear husband passed away three days after the 400 interview. I think his passing triggered my 751 and 400 approval. My 751 was approved one month after the interview that took place on 3/26 this year. My situation was a bit complicated and emotional too. Anyway. Los Angels field office seems to be faster in processing 400/751 dual applications in general anyway.

Thanks. We applied for 400 In early August 2017 with 751 pending. Yes, staying positive and cherishing my late husband in my heart are how it is going to help me get through, but I am so thrilled that the immigration is behind me.

Hey AC,

I just noticed on the USCIS Processing times site that Yakima, Washington local office has estimated time range of 3.5 to 5.5 months. Can you do a temporary move over to Apple Country for a couple of months? I'm half kidding here, obviously. I wonder why Seattle doesn't ship some of their cases over to Yakima for processing. Maybe the offices don't work like that.

Hi guys,
I need your advice & I'd like to hear what your thoughts are. I filed my i 751 on July 22 2017 and still waiting like many folks here. I am eligible to file for N-400 online but I still haven't filed yet. This is because we have been waiting for my husband's tax transcript to come back, in which we filed together.

He filed tax since April and somehow it's taking the IRS extra long to process his tax return. I wanted to add the tax transcript as a part of our evidence since this is the first year that we file together (he has been a grad student for 3 years & wasn't working during grad school). I have shared lease, utilities, cell phone bills, renters insurance, health insurance, and bank accounts as supporting documents, but i thought that having the tax transcript would be a good idea.
What do you think? Should I wait or should I go ahead and file N-400 ?
many thanks,

Sorry, late reply. Do you know you can request your tax transcripts online? https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

As a matter of fact, I was joking about moving to Yakima just for N-400 application with other Seattle applicants!

We talked about just eating lots of apples for 5 months in Yakima while waiting for our N-400 applications!
