So when I check the new website it says

July 16, 2018

We scheduled your naturalization ceremony

View your letter on your documents tab for the ceremony date, time, and location

Note: It may take up to a few days for your letter to show on your documents tab.

You will take the Oath of Allegiance and receive your Certificate of Naturalization at your ceremony. You will also return your Green Card and answer questions about your activity since your interview.

You will also have the opportunity to apply for a U.S. Passport/Passport Card, register to vote, and update your Social Security record.

What to bring

  • Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony (N-445)
  • Permanent Resident Card

I guess I will bring my old green card since I still only have that? lol Also I do not see the interview notice in my documents tab... I will wait a bit and will prob get updated tho

(I am hoping the service request I put online for my roc which said I will have answer by 26th wont mess up with my oath ceremony interview, but it prob can't right?)

Most likely "Yes" so I suggest that you make an InfoPass appointment!  :star:

I'm not feeling optimistic nowadays since 9/11 is only less than two months away!

I agree!  :star:  Some offices are very busy, but I was able to make an appointment at the Seattle office in two weeks!

With this new screwed up administration, yes. Optimism and norms are dwindling.

The latest processing time for 751/400 at field offices is 1 year and 5 months to 2 years and 9.5 months.

It is pretty horrifying with the upcoming new Trump purge policy that is going to start on 9/11/2018.

They seem to want to discourage people from applying for 400 while 751 is pending because if you apply for 751 and just wait for it, the wait time for 751 without 400 pending seems to be faster by about a year, it could take up to 20 months. I think this is all Trump's effort to prevent as many people from becoming citizens so they obviously won't be able to vote in 2020. That is just insane. For those of you who will apply for 751 soon, please make sure you got everything right the first time because after 9/11 this year, the new policy directs USCIS to just give applicants one chance, no more RFEs in that situation, and if you don't get it right, you could be put in deportation proceedings since you are a conditional resident. Be careful, guys, good luck and god speed.

I can't blame you for being negative and pessimistic, I would too. Maybe you should just pretend you just submitted your 751 yesterday and just go from there, and anything before the 9.5 month wait will be a miracle. I am praying that you hear from them very soon, but it is sad that I have been telling you "You will hear from them soon, hang in there". When is it going to end for you? Fingers crossed, this is really insane and ridiculous. And the Trump purge? Forget it. I will vote and help out as much as I can in an attempt to remove this president by voting and volunteering when I can.

I feel how fast the process goes all depends on the location and state you at, if you at a state and region that got fewer immigrants applying for various kind of immigration benefits then your application will go fast. Personally i am not moved by what the world says but i am only moved by what my maker decides for my case and situation, all we have to do is keep praying and hoping cos when we have hope we will overcome.

I applied for my N-400 in April and i have been called for interview for the N-400 and also my I-751 was transfered to my local office and i never knew about that but was aware when i called USCIS.  So keep the faith and hope going everyone in this ship we all aboard.

I had an InfoPass appointment to get an extension stamp at the Seattle office yesterday.

The officer asked me if I had applied for N-400 while my I-751 was pending so I said "Yes".  She told me that my I-751 application wasn't in the Seattle office, but it was at one of the service centers???  :reading:  I told her that I had contacted my congressperson and their immigration rep confirmed me that my I-751 was in the Seattle office!   She looked puzzled, but she told me that all she could tell from looking at the system was that I was in line for a citizenship interview.  She didn't tell me anything I didn't know.  :hehe:

Anyway, I asked her to give me a 1-year extension since the application timeline just keeps getting longer and longer.  She told me that it depends on the date I sent my N-400 application and the current average processing time in Seattle.  I showed her my N-400 NOA that shows that I had applied for N-400 almost 11 months ago and the current average processing time for N-400 in Seattle is 14-15.5 months, she was okay with giving me a 1-year extension.  I was also able to keep my expired 2-year Green Card!

Now they require that they take a photo and fingerprint of everyone who has an InfoPass appointment at the Seattle office.  They took my photo and fingerprints.  I told them that I didn't remember getting my photo and fingerprints taken at the last InfoPass appointment.  They told me that it was a new thing.  -_-

While I was there, I saw a group of people having an oath ceremony next door and looking really happy!   Super jealous!
