Good morning guys so I just got back from my interview I 751 and N400 interview. It was scheduled for 7:15am at Jacksonville Florida.  We got there at 6:30 . We checked in at 7:05 the nice gentleman came in at exact 7:25 and I asked him if he want me to come in only or with my wife. He said just you sir . He placed me on a oath immediately we walked to his office and said we finna work through my I 751 before we proceed . I said ok he asked if anything change since I filed and jokingly asked are you still with your wife and I said yes he said to obvious cos she waiting at the waiting room. He asked for our recent lease . Any other documents and I gave him 6 more affidavit of support he said oh really all this for me . I said yes and I even got bank statements and other insurance we just got . He said all I need is the affidavit and the lease with 2016 Tax I have him 2017 Tax and he said we are good to go. Then to N400 we went through the questions together and he asked me to read when is Columbus Day and also write the answer down he ticked the Pass mark. After that we started the civic test.

2.we elect a U.S senator for how many years

3.Name one branch or part of the government

4.How many amendments does the constitution have

5. What did the Declaration of Independence do

6.How many justices are on the supreme court

i answered correctly and he said congratulations you have demonstrated knowledge of the civic test . And jokingly asked if I will have the chance to come in for oath ceremony next week Friday I said yes yes yes and he laughed. Got scheduled for oath ceremony on the 20th of July. Interesting thanks for sharing! I applied Roc in Nov of 2016 ... nov 2017 n400 and only have my interview next week.. seems california has been slow.  I did get transfer of my case to Missouri (roc case). I've asked about it on avvoo to some lawyers and here is what I've heard guys.. that normally that happens just to get you an interview scheduled and that day of your n400 interview it should be joint with ROC. It seems some immigration workers get confused and don't know about this process tho... So I am going on my n400 interview and i am not coming back home they better interview me and my spouse right then and there because is been 20 months pending of roc and that's just too much.

Hey guys,

I had my interview yesterday.

I didn't wait too long at first, the officer called me and said we'll do the citizenship test first (I had a I751 pending).

I read and wrote what he asked and then to the civics part, the questions were:

1. What is freedom of religion?

2. How many U.S. Senators are there?

3. Name one state that borders Canada.

4. What ocean is on the west coast of the United States?

5. When was the constitution written?

6. Who is one of your state US Senator now?

After that, he said he can't approve me because of my I751 and asked if my spouse is with me, I told him yes and he said he will talk to both of us later. He asked me several more questions and asked to look at the paperwork I brought. He made copies of what he wanted and told me to wait outside until he'll call us. After 2 hours, he called us and we had an interview. He asked what else do I have to show him, I told him pictures. He looked at them and told us he will try to approve all today so if we can have a seat outside. After a while another officer came and said they're having issues with the system and she'll call me to let me know.

Hours later she did call me and said everything is approved and to come to the ceremony tomorrow (7/13/18)!

Can't believe that only hours away I will be done with USCIS.

I'll write here later about the ceremony.

THANK YOU to everybody on this wonderful forum who helped me be prepered for every step of this long journey :)

Thank you very much for this helpful insight! I hope mine to be similar... did you do in california service center and did u have roc pending?
