Yes and if you think you are eligible for N400 as in you have been a resident for 3 years, that means you missed your I751 by 1 year, file asap if thats the case, speak to a lawyer as well

I just finished printing a copy of every document I ever sent or received from USCIS or DHS. 550 pages easy+ 60 photos! Not to mention the originals I need to grab. Next up organizing them! It feels silly that you have to get and make copies of all these documents like 6  times before you are a citizen!

If your green card was not conditional, then no. But I am surprised you are asking if you need to remove the conditions when you are preparing for the naturalization filing.

Condition removal precedes naturalization filing by a year. If you had conditions and did not apply already, then you are out of status and is in the US illegally.

Looking at their timeline, it looks like they may have just received the letter for removal of conditions, that's why I'm waiting for their response to my question :-)

Finally, my I-751 is approved yesterday:D . It was such a long journey. I had my N-400/I-751 combo interview in Dallas on 04/11/18. Surprisingly the officer did not need my wife's presence for combo interview. My N-400 is still stuck at "interview is scheduled". Hopefully, it will be approved soon too. I had an infopass appointment on 05/08/18 to see the status of my both application because there was no movement post interview. I was told during infopass that some of the background checks were still pending (not sure if true or not). But looks like infopass did the trick and I started getting all weird notification about my case being transferred to another office blah blah... and then finally the approval!!

Congrats. You also have 400 pending, correct? My 751 was approved on the 26th of April, and got the approval notice in the mail on 4/30,  but I got 2 new updates yesterday and the day before saying my case has been transferred to a new office like many 751 pending applicants. If you get one of these later, please let me know, appreciate it.

Congrats, my situation is just the opposite of yours. I was approved on 4/26, and got the approval notice in the mail on 4/30, and i got all these weird updates saying my case has been transferred to another to another office after the approval. I am sure I have been approved ,but these 2 new updates make it unsettling. I think it is just the system update for all the 751/400 combo applicants. A tier 2 officer will call me shortly and hopefully I can find out what's going on even though I don't have much confidence in them.

Thanks!  A few days after our interviews (4/10) we received a NOA stating the 751 was sent to NBC Missouri which I thought strange.  At the interview, the IO clearly had the 751package in front of her when she called me back with my wife prior to my wife’s N400 interview.  Now after catching back up, I am not sure if the 751 was sent from CSC to Detroit to NBC, or from CSC to NBC to Detroit and I am not sure what entity actually finally approved it, but it is finally approved.

Yes, mine was a long journey. I think the passing of my husband triggered the adjudication that led to my approval. I had to submit the death certificate and requested to change the joint 751 to a widow's waiver application and they obviously did that and approved my 751,  but I got these strange updates after the approval saying my 751 has been transferred to IOWA and the Lee Summit Missouri. It is most likely an error or a system update for all the 751/400 pending applicants because we have seen many reports that many 751 pending applicants have been getting these strange updates, but I rather get the approval as my last update not the stupid new weird updates after the approval which make it unsettling. They also scheduled my oath, they were supposed to reject me in the very first place, but my oath ceremony is scheduled for the 23rd, I totally expect to lose my eligibility on the spot at the ceremony because my husband passed 3 days after the interview which should have invalidated my 400 by law, but either they were incompetent or they decided to override the law which is highly unlikely, I just want my freaking green card, and instead, I have to go to the oath and lose my eligibility there, maybe that is why I am getting these weird updates because they thought I was going to be sworn in, so they figure they would postpone my green card production until they find out I am not eligible for 400. So frustrating. I just want to have a peace of mind for now after what I have gone through with personal loss and all that. Congrats again.

Just got off the phone with a tier 2 officer. The officer told me they have more than likely suspended my green card production(My 751 was approved on 4/26/2018) because my oath ceremony has been scheduled, but the drag is my husband passed 3 days after the interview which is supposed to make me ineligible for citizenship by law, the USCIS either was clueless or they decided to override the provision of 319 section A, but I think it is the former. So like I expected, I will go to the oath and they will find me ineligible and they will resume the production of my green card. What a drag, I guess I had been waiting for so long for the 751 approval, and I finally got approved after near 21 months, I think my husband's passing triggered the approval sadly. 2 more weeks are not going to matter. Hopefully after I lose my eligibility in 2 weeks, they can resume the green card production quickly so I can get my green card soon. What a drag. They were supposed to reject my 400 first, if they did, my green card would have been in production now. Instead I have to to an oath ceremony and be rejected there. Like I have not gone through enough with my husband's passing, but at least I am happy that I am 751 approved.
