I will call back to USCIS after my 30 days if they don't give me any solution I will try to contact my congressman she got her office across my street

My inquiry has been pending more than 30 days. I wrote messages to house representative office of my district and to the senators. The representative already submitted an inquiry toward USCIS and told me to contact them again if I don’t hear something in 2 weeks (it has been a week since that).
yesterday, I received mail from Senator with the forms to fill in and to return to them. I will do it in those two days.

I recommend you to bring all the documents that you submitted in your application for both cases and if you have any recent documents like bank statements, Bills From different months and years, New and old Photos, Car payments, Tax Returns, W2, 401K, 1099, everything that proof that your marriage is not fake.

I applied for N400 a few weeks ago and have my biometrics scheduled for next week at Seattle with estimated completion date of December 2020.

I got a letter that said my I751 got transferred to Postmac SC. Isn't my pending I751 supposed to be transferred to the same local office as the N400 to be processed together or am I missing something?

Wherever I read on this website people say their I751 got transferred to their local office.

That is kind of unusual although you can never be 100% sure about USCIS’s procedures.

It could be “the exception that proves the rule” or an accidental transfer to the wrong location which would be corrected later.

It could be that your case was already in the process of being transferred to Potomac right when you filed for naturalization and they were unable to pull your I-751 file for it to be transferred to MSC and from there to your local field office.

It could also be an internal procedure which we are not aware of.

Frankly, it could be any imaginable or unimaginable scenario as USCIS is well know for those!

Don’t lose any sleep over it.  Just follow their instructions and eventually it will all play out just fine.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Hi everyone,

I finally received my green card after being called in for a second interview.

The card was delivered 2 weeks ago.

Since then, my N400 still stays the same - no updates whatsoever. Is this normal?

Should I contact the USCIS? If so, what is the best way to do so - call the 800 number, or schedule an info pass?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

HI there

Do you get your N-400 approved by now? and if you do how long does it take to get approved, I'm in the same situation and I hear that many people are stuck in this process

Not worried just wondering whats up with them. It got transferred to my local office on October 11 but then got transferred again to Potomac per the online profile but I only got notice for the Potomac one so who knows.

Hey guys, any one in the same situation? So I have both cases pending, and N-400 interview coming up November 2nd.

So as I filed an inquiry for info pass appointment last Friday. I got a call yesterday around 4pm. The officer said that most likely it won't be a combo interview. He scheduled me for info pass appointment for November 5th at 8am, and November 2nd is my interview for I-400. When I asked him where is my I-751 case he said its in Texas, but I told him that it was in Texas like a year ago and that on July 1st it was transferred to NBC- Lee Summtit office, and I have received a letter stating that. Then he said that this is what he sees in the system. Mind you this is Tier 2 officer and when I spoke with tier 1 last week she confirmed that it was in NBC ughh.

I am just annoyed and frustrated. I really don't know what to expect at this point. I just want to be over with this process.

Hi guys.

i just completed my combo interview yesterday in minnesota. First of all, I wanna thank stories and posts from the forum for enriching my knowledge in the application process. My interview went much much much much easier than I expected. When I was called in, I came by myself to the door, but the IO asked if my wife came with me. I said yes. Then we both were called in. While my wife was walking in, the IO told me that he already accepted my case because the package I sent for i751 was good enough, but he had to call me in the room and ask 2-3 simple questions because it’s the law. Indeed, me and my wife sat in the same room, no separation. We were asked about names, address, who live in the house, date of marriage. Then he processed n400. Super nice and easy IO. I printed out a lot of additional documents and photos since I submitted i751, but the IO did not need a single of them. He said I have 99% of chance being naturalized on 11/26. Thank you all

I got news, I received a massage on my online inbox from USCIS that due to unforeseen circumstances they had to cancel my previously scheduled interview on June 05-2019 (my first N-400 interview)  that they will rescheduled interview appointment information under separate notice, then I checked the status fo my case and it seems like they send me a new notice with my new interview appointment.

I applied on Feb 2018 and N-400 Jan 2019? how long it took you to get I-751 approved? also when was your interview? Was it combo?

I filed my cases the same time as you, I-751 on Feb-2018 and N-400 Jan-2019, at this moment I have my I-751 approved (Green card on hand and NO combo Interview)  and I was waiting for my N-400 decision, but today I got a massage on my online inbox from USCIS that due to unforeseen circumstances they had to cancel my previously scheduled interview on June 05-2019 (my first N-400 interview)  that they will rescheduled interview appointment information under separate notice, then I checked the status fo my case and it seems like they send me a new notice with my new interview appointment.
