Card has been mail needs to change card has been picked up by USPS and then card will be delivered.  In my case, card has been mailed message July 9, card picked up July 10th and card received today July 12, 2019.

Informed to Oath officer that you did not receive your GC and hopefully, IO officer will allow you to take oath.  Let us know.

Now it says card was picked up by USPS with a tracking #. I had my condition green card with me, I am officially a U.S. citizen as of today, everything went perfect during the oath ceremony.

What I don't understand is why they mailed the 10 years green card if I am alreay a US citizen. Card is supposed to be delivered on July 15. It even has a tracking #.

Again. Do I have to send the card back to uscis or do I keep it.

quick question, in order for USCIS to conduct a combo interview during the N400 interview while I751 still pending, does the I751 status needs to change to " case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction" prior to the N400 interview? if so, how do you make USCIS do the case transfer prior to the N400 interview? Thank you.

Mine never said that. It said the same thing "case at local office"

Yes u do have to give up PR card. You can't have both. Why USCIS gave u a green card only to take it 3 days later is because u applied for n400 and it's also the due process. You paid for green card you get a green card

Congratulation  You paid $638 and that's why you receive it.   Did you ask before Oath what to do with the 10 year GC.  But you do not need it anymore.  Make a photocopy of it and return to USCIS to keep the record straight.

Mine also in local office all the time, did not receive any notice that I-751 was transfer to NBC.  However, my understanding is that if I-751 is not assigned to an officer for approval and if you apply N-400, NBC recalls the I-751 and when your N-400 is due to interview, they send them together.

There are exception too, so when you will go for interview, you will know whether your I-751 is in the local office or not.

Thank you, that's what I will do as soon as I get it. I thought they were not supposed to send it as they scheduled my oath for 3 days after combo interview. I didn't ask anything today cuz I thought it was just a standard update, but now I got a text saying usps picked it up with tracking # so they clearly sent it.

Anyway I will send it back. Where do I send it?

You can not do anything at this stage.    You need to go for N-400 interview and hopefully, it will be come with N-400.

Wait for your card to arrive and you will get information where to write, if you do not receive your card and may be you can send to the same address with a letter explaining your situation or take an infopass after receiving your GC and return to local office, then you will be sure that it went to right place.  They are my thoughts

Thanks @dilip @David1987

@dilip is there a way to know whether my case has assigned to an officer in the local office? I'm thinking to call USCIS customer service and ask L2 officer to find out, but not sure if they will tell me. I really hoping that my interview will include I751, so trying to do whatever I can beforehand. but sounds like I might have to find out the day of.

My experience with the same

thing: I sent an email from MyUSCIS account inbox and they called me after two days. The answer: your N400 and I751 will MOST LIKELY be together at the day of N400 interview.

it didn’t happen. My officer who interviewed me requested my I751 from CSC, but no one responded. So I had interview , passed it, but not approved.

Now when I have I751 approved and card being sent to the address, I wonder when they will give me Oath. Cos my N400 status is still “we scheduled your interview” from April.

So, my N-400 interview is next week and in the summons letter they asked me to bring original of the documents I submitted.

Now, besides the original GC, marriage certificate, passports and IDs, do I need to print out the other documents I already submitted online such as photos, tax return transcripts, utility bills?

My I-751 interview was on April 25 and submitted a sizeable amount of documents at that time as well. Every thing I submitted then is more or less the recent stuff. I'm taking my copy of whatever I submitted during that interview though, which does include the 2018 year's tax return transcript as well.

Thoughts and suggestions?

Thanks in advance 😊

Tax return, photos, utility bills etc are not needed to be bring to interview.  N-400 interview is the easiest of all and paper work burden is the least.  They already know everything about you based on past immigration journey.  Yes take the 2018 tax return.  You will be surprise, they will not ask to see anything.

At this stage, if you are out of your processing time, you can submit an inquiry.  L2 officer will provide  you a generic answer, so no point wasting time .    Hope for the best.  If your interview IO is a good one, he will talk about i-751 or you need to mention after N-400 interview that my I-751 is pending.  Go with spouse for interview.
