That was the same for my wife.  She never actually received a 10 yr GC though even though the notice said it was being produced.  She got the N400 approval about a week later and only had to wait for the oath.

Good Luck!

Good to know that no GC will be issued.

That’s what they are supposed to do, but that isn’t always the case.

Yes, you are right.  There is no coherent policy.  Did IO say to you that he/she will request your I-751 before another interview date?

You give me hope! Cos we had very similar situation. I have never heard about my I751 since March 8, 2018. And even tho officer requested it for my N400 interview, the CSC never responded.

Waiting game is very painful when you are almost at the end of your immigration journey.  Hopefully, you will hear good news soon on your case.

I am eligible to apply for N400 just today and i have already applied N400 today by online submission. I have pending i751 for 11 months now. I attached my expired green card along with i751 reciept notice. But didn't attach any Cover letter explaining i want to be US citizen under INA 319(a) act. Is that would be a problem. And i haven't attached any picture in additional documets. So that would be any issue?

You do not need a cover letter stating what part of the INA you are applying under as the online submission asks when you apply. Concerning other evidence they may issue an RFE but I am not sure. They may also just schedule an interview at which time you would take your tax transcripts, evidence of co-mingling and any other proof that you feel is necessary. Good luck. I waited 10 months from application date to date of oath ceremony.

They know all your immigration history and they know that your I-751 is pending.  So you are okay.

I am submitting my N-400 application tomorrow. Does anyone have a sample cover letter that I could use?
