I think i have seen at least one case in Boston that went through combo interview on this thread. You may also call them to try to get a Tier2 officer and explain your case.

Hello,

Could you please explain to me how could I get to talk with Tier 2, I've been trying to call 800 number but is there are too many options and I couldn't get to talk with anyone.

Amadia here mentioned that you can ask to talk to asupervisor to tier-1 person to get to Tier-2. I haven't tried this trick on my own.

at your N400 interview they will interview both of you. at least that's what happened to me. so bring your spouse with lots of supporting evidence as if you are going to a i751 as well as n400. goodluck dear

If you don't mind, What were the questions you were asked on I-751 interview?

It really depends. At our interview, the officer was impressed with our volume of evidence and skipped all the questioning lol

Just ask to speak to a Tier-2 IO and they will transfer you. You might not get answered right away and can leave your phone #. The Tier-2 IO will call you back.

Hello, long time no see! :)

I just went to the Houston office to get my i-551 stamp. Did you go get yours?

The officer told me my i-751 package is still at NBC and will get shipped out to my local office once they send me the N-400 interview notice. Hope things go well to you and everyone else. I know we are very close to the end of the journey ;)

I don't need to yet until Dec of this year. however, when i went for my biometric for my N400, the lady who is doing paperwork there said we should be interviewed for N400 very soon (before August). I just worry that my I751 wont' get transferred to my local office for combo interview and adjudicate at the same time.

I’m waiting for i751 interview in Baltimore office. So far, it’s still not scheduled. 751 is pending for 19.5 months. My friend had her n400 interview there in March. So far her oath ceremony is still not scheduled. What is that tells you about Baltimore office? It’s super slow.

Thanks for the quick response. My I-751 is pending from July 2017 and N-400 from August 2018.

If your friend share the interview experience, if yes please share.

Thanks

Omg, you’re way over the processing time for i751. Did you try to submit out of processing time inquiry?

As far as n400 interview of my friend, it was terrible. They held her there for 2 hours and were digging her life all over. Mostly the focus was her divorce, even though she got divorced way after her i751 was approved. Overall she waited 13 months for n400 interview and now it’s 3rd month after interview.

Dear all,

I filed my N400 two weeks ago while my i751 is still pending (filed May 2018), my biometric appt for N400 is on June 10th.

Today, I received a letter from CSC, informing me that my biometric appt for my i751 is on June 12th.

Do I have to go and get my biometrics done twice within 3 days? anyone who has a similar experience?

Thanks!

Eli

Did you just say Baltimore is super slow? Wait until you check out Dallas local office or Texas State as a whole; then you’d know the real definition of super slow ... haha Texas is the champion when it comes to cases been slow :)

Thanks for sharing the experience. Yes, Its not good if she has approved I-751 than it should not a point for her N-400 delay.

When i request for I-751 delay, I got reply:

We are going to adjudicate both I-751 and N-400 at the same time. Also my N-400 time extend from July 2019 to March 2020.
