Just downloaded my N400 interview letter and it is scheduled for July 09, it doesn't mention anything about a combo interview, it is just one page. My I751 it's been pending for 23 months now and it was transferred to my local office on December 2018, I made a case inquiry and they replied saying they were going to adjudicate both cases.

Will they do a combo interview even if the letter does not mention it?

Also we have nobody to take care of our kids, can we take them with us? They are 2.5 years old and 7 months old.

Oh we don't have any bills or anything together as when I came here my husband already had the house and all the services, we do have car insurance and health insurance together, he opened me a checking account went I can't here cuz he didn't want to share his bank account until I change my last name to his cause right now I have 3 last names his being the last one lol, very immature I know. He does transfer money to my account monthly so I can pay my credit card cause I do not work.

On our letter it did not say it was going to be a combo interview either. But it was; the IO made it clear he was interviewing him for ROC and N400. Bring all evidences you have. My hubby and I have a fair amount of evidence but not joint bank account. But we do transfer money back and forth. And they can be seen on statements. Supply what you have.

Thank you, so we are going prepared and hopefully it will be a combo interview. Yes, I was thinking about bringing my bank account statements reflecting the money he  transfers me, we do taxes together since I came too, and of course we have too many pictures 🤣

Tax returns are the strongest evidences. It WILL be a combo interview. They cannot adjudicate a N400 without first approving ROC.

My I-751 ( July 2017 ) and N-400 ( August – 2018) both are pending. Most likely interview will be combo. At the time of arrival in US, My age is 31. My question is:

Is any proof required for Selective Service registration as my first arrival in US is at age 31 ?

No need to submit any proof since they can see the date you entered the U.S. and figured out your age.

Hello! I'm June 2017 filler and had my N-400 interview in February 2019. Not sure if it was a combo or not (IO asked for evidence and relationship related questions but didn't call my husband in)...anyway, he didn't approve neither N-400 nor I-751 and I didn't hear anything back since then... made a bunch of calls, service requests, and info pass apt. All they can tell my both petitions are pending :( I had to go and get already second stamp in my passport ...so tired of this bs. Yesterday I wrote a letter to my congressman, not sure if that will help though.

My I-751 is pending for 23 months now (no RFE), N-400 is more than 90 days passed after the interview (I heard they have to make a decision within 120 days but not sure if this applied to my case).

Any other advice about what else can be done? Thanks!

Did they say your case was lacking anything? We were told both would be approved back in his interview in March. Got approval letter for ROC and 10 year GC a week after interview but got a RFE for N400 for needing more relationship evidence even though everything was brought to interview and IO said everything was perfect. My question is if we didn't have satisfactory evidence why was the ROC approved at interview? None of this makes sense and surely the ROC demands more evidence than the N400. We are almost on day 70 post interview. If we could go back in time we would have waited to file N400 till after ROC was done. 20190522_084227.thumb.jpg.ce4e253e3f9e7740a29056f0bf52411e.jpg

No - if you entered after your 26th birthday, there’s no need to register with the selective service.

Where did you guys translated your marriage certificate ?

Have any body used this website https://www.asaptranslate.com/pricing/  ?

We need an original translation for n400 but in this website they email you the translation and mail you a copy so I guess it won't be original, I am lost, don't understand how they can email something and you getting it original.

Good Morning, I got a notice of interview but it's only mentions-400 nothing regarding I-751. How could I know if that Combo or not???? I heard about some cases after people went to the interview they couldn't make it because the USCIS didn't know about their pending I-751 or they don't have the file.

Have you recieved any email saying your i751 was transferred to your local office? When mine was transferred I made a case inquiry and they said they would adjudicate both cases and now my n400 interview doesn't mention anything about a combo but I am expecting a combo interview as I know for sure my local office has both files.

Actually, on Feb 13 I got an email saying that my case was transferred to the local office, but on Feb 14 I got another one said that has been transferred to a different office. then got a MAIL said that transferred to Texas. I'm so confused and IDK what should I do now.

Doesn’t matter. It’s from your actual date of official immigration.

Had our combo interview today and approved for both! Waiting on oath ceremony, which should be scheduled in 2-3 months.

We brought a boatload of evidence, but the officer didn’t ask for anything besides our IDs, stating repeatedly that we had extensive evidence to begin with lol. So happy this process is basically over.

That happened to me. My I751 status is “received to local office” since March 2018. I had interview for N400, passed it, but not approved cos documents I751 were not sent from California Service center.

I don’t know if CSC is local office or what?

Well, he did say they MAY need some more evidence but nothing specific. We had all the regular stuff on the file - lease, joint bank account, taxes, insurance, pics, letters from friends, etc. No kids though.
