Thanks.

I just got the update this morning. I will call USCIS first thing Monday morning and if I’m not satisfy with whatever the tier2 officer tell me then I will make info pass appointment.

I check the status of my I-751 but still saying the same thing that my file was received at my local office.

Make an infopass and request to speak to a supervisor ... on the other hand, get your congress man involved .

It's obvious that they don't know what they're doing in that your local office or that person who did the interview messed the whole thing up.

I want to believe you have a strong case and don't have to wait for one year or wait for i-751 approval which will/might not come because you already had N400 and both were supposed to go together

Hello everyone,

I just don’t understand what’s going on with my case anymore.

I posted on here 2weeks ago about my experience at Newark office concerning my N-400(I have a pending I-751) in which the officer told me I’m not eligible to file for citizenship until a decision is made on my I-751.

So, I called USCIS and spoke to a tier-2 officer. He acknowledged that I was right to file the N-400 as I did and advised that I write a letter and upload it on my account explaining how I’m qualified under section 319 and supported it with a copy of my GC which I did.

I just saw the attached document in my USCIS account this morning and not sure if they saying I didn’t attend my scheduled interview or that I was not eligible to file when I did and therefore closed my case.

It seems they are trying to say your 751 must be adjudicated before the n400 case will be reopened. All this makes no sense as the law says you’re eligible after being a permanent resident for 2 years 9 months.

When was that? Just to clarify...did you receive a copy of a second 18-month extension letter? Or is it the same one you received before?

I received another 18 month extension letter yesterday dated 02/20/2019. It contained the same information as the one I received some time last year.

I think it is good.  They gave you more time and you do not have to book an appointment and get  the l551 stamp.

So idk if they ask for w-2 but i did attached online my irs tax forms.!

The thing is that I do have a lot of entries to the us, in the last couple of years 74 I believe, but they all trips that i take on the weekends some times no more of 24 hrs however I believe that is the reason my case hasn’t get the final approval yet.! Maybe they think I didn’t live on the us or maybe I stayed longer than 6 months in total. But I wasn’t..!!!!

i do have a job here and pay rent and utilities every month i do cross the border yeah (every other weekend), but maybe just maybe thats the think that is holding my application even that has recommended for aproval at the interview.!

However today I decided to upload my w-2 forms for the last couple of years to give proof of recidency?  I mean i think is a proof of recidency right?  Do they look at documents uploaded after interview? U guys think it was worth to upload them?

Still waiting for oath ceremony (final aproval letter) or (onlineupdate)

Hey,everyone! I recently submitted a service request and I got a reply today. It says "your form i-751 and form n-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time. " There hasnt been an update since it was transferred on Dec 21st. did anyone receive such reply and if so how long did it take for the interview to be scheduled ? My extension expires in april and my local office is 3,5 hours away. Not looking forward to drive 7 hours in total with a toddler to get a stamp. Thanks in advance!
