Hey Corvus how is he practicing? Like is it flash cards, phone app, or you asking the question?

I found the app to be easiest as it was multiple choice so until I had the answers down pat so that I could just recite it I could still answer some by recognition instead.

I know the actual test isn’t multi choice but the app can be great at building that knowledge bridge between recognition of a correct answer and reciting it

without any prompt.

He does an app and then flash cards.

no single word about combo interview in the letter, btw :(

So is that interview for n400? And how come you got one really fast in 3 months period ? Here in Seattle it takes 13 months to get an interview.  What office area you applied to?

Yes. But I’m planning to call and ask where my ROC case is and tell them about my N400 interview coming, if I ever reach tier2, of course.,

When I applied for N400, it showed 14 months for processing time online(now 12), but when I went to biometrics, officer told me it was not true, that entire process takes 3-5 months in this office. Looks like he was not lying..I hope everything goes well.. El Paso, Texas

Hello everyone,

I just don’t understand what’s going on with my case anymore.

I posted on here 2weeks ago about my experience at Newark office concerning my N-400(I have a pending I-751) in which the officer told me I’m not eligible to file for citizenship until a decision is made on my I-751.

So, I called USCIS and spoke to a tier-2 officer. He acknowledged that I was right to file the N-400 as I did and advised that I write a letter and upload it on my account explaining how I’m qualified under section 319 and supported it with a copy of my GC which I did.

I just saw the attached document in my USCIS account this morning and not sure if they saying I didn’t attend my scheduled interview or that I was not eligible to file when I did and therefore closed my case.

Hi,

I applied for N-400 on late December 2018. Today I received status update that my interview was scheduled, which makes me very happy, of course. But what makes me worried is that my i751 is still at CSC without any moves or transfers.

Is that even OK? Because from what I have seen they transfer cases to Nebraska after applying for N400...but not mine.

Anyone else with similar situation ?

Hi, my case was transferred to Nebraska (from CSC) before I filed for N-400. Try not to worry too much as it seems that there is not any logical reason as to where and why cases have been transferred. I submitted my N-400 almost 20 days after I-751 was transferred. Only 2 days after I submitted N-400, I received a notification that they have scheduled me for biometrics already and I haven't even received the original receipt notice yet. Maybe just to be on the safe side bring your spouse to the N-400 interview in case they conduct a combo one. Good luck and keep us posted!

Basically ehat I understand is thay they put your application in hold for one year to give your roc time and get it approved.! If you dont re-open the case  on 1 year basis you have to re-file another one and pay again.!!

that sucks for u man your local pffice ###### u up.!

I just got the update this morning. I will call USCIS first thing Monday morning and if I’m not satisfy with whatever the tier2 officer tell me then I will make info pass appointment.

I check the status of my I-751 but still saying the same thing that my file was received at my local office.

Hmm - maybe take a day off to kind of regroup then focus on the ones he has issues with for a couple of days and then go back to reviewing them all might take pressure off a bit.

Wishing him the best.

So idk if they ask for w-2 but i did attached online my irs tax forms.!

The thing is that I do have a lot of entries to the us, in the last couple of years 74 I believe, but they all trips that i take on the weekends some times no more of 24 hrs however I believe that is the reason my case hasn’t get the final approval yet.! Maybe they think I didn’t live on the us or maybe I stayed longer than 6 months in total. But I wasn’t..!!!!

i do have a job here and pay rent and utilities every month i do cross the border yeah (every other weekend), but maybe just maybe thats the think that is holding my application even that has recommended for aproval at the interview.!

However today I decided to upload my w-2 forms for the last couple of years to give proof of recidency?  I mean i think is a proof of recidency right?  Do they look at documents uploaded after interview? U guys think it was worth to upload them?

Still waiting for oath ceremony (final aproval letter) or (onlineupdate)
