I put in a random May date (9th) for Chennai. There seem to be slots open for the consular interview in Mumbai on May 25th (3 slots), June 15th (1 slot) and June 22nd (5 slots). If you're not seeing this, I have no idea why. You may have to email US Travel Docs.

Yes. After a few days, i was able to see some dates.

So you do have to keep checking everyday. And once the interviews are open , you’ll see a small notification box on the right hand corner telling you the dates available.

I am going through the  same issue since 1 month, not able to figure out how to get appointment without error. Any pointers, tricks ?

Finally after more than one month of frustrating experience, reading through blogs, etc., I was able to schedule DCF - IR2 interview for my daughter @ Mumbai consulate for late March. I have been getting error message, been locked out many times for 72 hours, numerous emails, many calls to support centre, etc., finally at around 8:30am i was able to get two slots - OFS & interview for March third week.
