AOS Form (I-864) Household Size

Hi, I'm trying to help my mom fill out an i-864 form as a joint sponsor.

In calculating her household size should it just be 1 for the immigrant (my husband) and 1 for herself? So in the attached picture she'd need to add a one at the top (#1) and the household size (#8) is 2 right?

I'm filing my own form which has 1 for the immigrant and 1 for myself.

We plan to stay with her right after we move until we can find a place of our own? I was planning to use a letter from her to prove domicile and most of my ties to the US have her address. But if I'm an independant adult child then I don't count as part of her household right?

If she has no tax dependents, then  yes.. her household size is 1 plus immigrant

If you are not her tax dependent, rather just living at the same address, your household size for the I 864 is till 2 ,  you plus your husband. Even though you dont meet the financial obligations, you are still the primary sponsor.

Thanks!
